ᴄᴏᴍʙᴀᴛ x ᴀɴᴅ x ɪᴄᴇ

\\Annya (POV)\\

I walked in the area, calmly. Makoru on the other hand, didn't look calm at all. He was almost like he was getting ready to kill someone. I stood before him, as far away as possible.

"So what's it gonna be?" I asked moving my hands behind my back.

"I shall," he said licking his lip, of which I found disgusting. "Play a little game," he mischievously smiled.

I tilted my head. "What game?"

He again smiled. "Ever heard of Tag?"

I blinked. Oh.

"Yea of course!" I smiled giving him off the innocent child persona.

"Well then," he said. "We will play tag! But the rules are gonna be a little different. We will both be catchers, who will need to touch the other one. You'll or I need to touch each other's nose. And whoever touches each other's nose first, wins."

I grinned. "Alright!" I said. "But I have a suggestion, is that possible?" I asked my eyes pleading.

Makoru just smirked. "Yeah sure. If I get to choose my preys fate, let it be a last wish," he smiled as I hid a glare.

"Ok! Thanks! My wish is that you mister would take out and hold that huge swords of yours!" I laughed as he froze in his spot. There we go. "I also wish that he would attack me only with it!" I childishly smiled. We kept in a tense silence.

Makoru finally sight, breaking the silence. "Alright, little one, I will," he said taking his big knife out. It was almost the size of his body itself. I relaxed my shoulders. "But don't say I didn't warn ya."

He charged at me fast, not informing him we started. I quickly bowed down to the ground to see him slash his blade, where I just was.

I used my all strength, to kick his arm, throwing him away, as I jumped up to my knees. He soon ran to me again. He's fast, I noticed. He tried to stab me with the heavy knife, but I in time backed away. He then again attacked ms using the same move. Ah, I see. When he tried the move again I jumped on the blade, making it weigh way more.

The guy dropped to the floor as I jumped away at least 10 feet. He soon stood up again. He ran and ran to me as I easily dogged him. His face getting redder of embarrassment, since he was clearly loosing to a 12 year old girl.

In a matter of minutes he was on the floor, laying half way to passing out, out of tiredness. I still stood before him. He was breathing heavily, sweat dropping, eyes twitching and his whole body trying to rest.

I grinned. "Oh wow! I thought we were gonna play more? I guess you can't handle the pain, can you?" I smiled at him, as a angry expression appeared on his tired face.

"DAMN YOU!-" he shouted, jumping up, about to kill me. I slid down to the ground as his hand cached the air. I lightly touched the ground letting out my ice, letting it consume it.

The ground covered in complete ice as the guy stutter and fallen down, hitting hard, his head and back. Makoru let out a painful scream as I walked to him, bowed down and smiled.

I stick my finger to his face and touched his nose. "I win!" I laughed as he stared at me terrified.

I smiled, my eyes darkening. I leaned over to his ear. "Do you feel now? How it feels to be tortured? How it feels to loose to someone not your age or height? Or are you stupid enough not to understand that?" I whispered, slightly giggling at the end of my sentence.

I then stood up and walked away letting my cheerful expression lighten up my face. "Guys! Did you see? I was amazing there, wasn't I?"

I stoped looking at the three surprised faces, one excited and the other just naturally smiling.

"Annya! You where so cool!" Gon shouted happily as he hugged me, right after I joined up with the boys. I smiled and pat his head, feeling like a sister.

"Yeah, I'm pretty impressed myself," Kurapika said his voice surprised.

Killua went over to me and gave a high five. Leorio and Tompa looked at me terrified, probably not expecting that to happen.

"But I don't understand. How did that guy was so exhausted after fighting you?" Gon suddenly asked leaning back, confused expression on his face.

"Oh that..." I awkwardly smiled. "I used a method to exhaust him, in a matter of minutes. It's called-"

"Non physical damage," finished Kurapika's voice.

I looked over at him surprised, his serious face asking for the truth. Kurapika was truly smart. I guess.

I smiled at him. "So you know this method huh? Not a big surprise."

Kurapika closed his eyes. "Non physical damage attack, is a sneaky and thoughtful method. The user dodges their opponent attacks until the enemy is exhausted snd barely can move. Then they make the last punch that finishes the round. That is why Annya asked for the guy to draw out his sword. Because she saw how much it weighs, and used it to exhaust the man." Kurapika finished explaining.

I gave Kurapika a glimpse of smile. "Half of it is truth, yes." I said looking down at Gon's confused face, while patting his head. "But I didn't only asked him to take that big knife because of its weight. I also wanted to protect myself from his hands," I explained my eyes again on Kurapika. "I saw how strong those arms were. If he had grabbed me by them, he would have probably broken my bones. So I decided to cancel them," I smiled sheepishly.

Kurapika seemed to understand as he nod. Gon on the other hand was looking at the ceiling still processing everything out.

I laughed at his childishness and tapped his shoulder. "It doesn't matter anymore, Gon. Just focus on your own fight, k? We now only need a few wins and we're done!" I said as his face lighten up with determination.

"Ok! I will, thanks Annya!" He said as we both exchanged smiles. Killua next to us grinning at how similar we were. If it wasn't for our blood, then we'd be totally siblings, I thought while turning to the rest of the group. Oh wait- I think I jinxed it-

...

After that Gon was to fight with a smart looking guy, who's challenge was with candles. Gon eventually won and got us a second win. Now only need for 2 more and we've completed trick tower.

Next one to go was Kurapika. I haven't seen him fight yet, so this is truly going to be interesting...

Sorry this chapter is a little shorter than usual :^ I'm just busy with school lately, so I probably won't be updating as much as I did before :/

The fact that I'm latterly rewatching Hunter x Hunter for this book is just funny-
