\\Annya (POV)\\

It was quieter after Killua and I parted ways. I tried to find him, but eventually failed and headed alone.

It was getting boring, now since only one day was left. I saw some other applicants on my while walking through the forest, even if they didn't see me.

And that was when I decided to find Gon.

...

Since I didn't have his special smell or eyes, nor I could sense his aura, I needed to assume things that I've already knew. He did say his opponent was Hisoka, which means he could be somewhere near him. At least close enough for me to sense him.

For finding Hisoka. It was easier than a person could think. His dark aura was almost begging me to come and find him.

As I was walking by, I felt the aura get stronger as I looked over a tree and found him standing there holding cards with peoples numbers.

"Hm?~ What do we have here?~" he said turning to me.

I narrowed my eyes nervously. "Uh, hi. Do you know where Gon is?" I went straight for the point.

He shot his eyebrows still smiling like a creep. "Gon? No, I have no idea."

"Don't lie to..." I stopped in the middle of my sentence as I noticed the badge on his chest. "Eh?! What happened, I thought you were 44th number!" I exclaimed pointing at his badge.

He gave me a wider smile. "Yes, I indeed was. But your friend has taken it from me, so I had no choice but to change it!~" his eyes sparkled in a way I hated.

"Gon actually took it? Oh then I'm glad," I sight. "Anyways um, thanks I guess. See you later." I said running away as I disappeared from his point of view.

Well that didn't work out, I groaned. How am I suppose to find him now? I stopped.

Well there's that way, of course. But then a lot of people could sense me. Well I guess it doesn't matter anymore, anyways.

I closed my eyes as I activated my nen. Soon I sensed every left applicants as I shot my head. Familiar auras entered my composure.

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio. I sensed them all together somewhere far away. I smiled as I opened my eyes and started running. I've got to be careful now, since everyone can sense me.

I jumped up to the trees and started running. Back at home, it would be my routine to run like this. Well I didn't do it that often but I still love travelling by trees.

The sun was going down as I noticed that the three of them stopped in a spot. I guess they where looking for something, I thought as I hopped from tree to tree. I stopped using my nen to detect them and again hid my presence.

Soon it became dark as I ran to the spot I last sensed them. It was emty, which worried me.

"Where are they?" I mumbled checking every tree and rock. "Did they ran off to somewhere else?"

As I was digging in a bush I heard the sound of footsteps. I glanced back to see a green haired boy running out of a cage with people on his back. My jaw dropped as I recognised the green jacket, green shorts and green shoes.

"Gon!" I shouted as our eyes met. His eyes widened in surprise.

"Annya!" He yelled back before almost crashing on the ground. I quickly ran to him and grabbed people off his back, laying them on the ground as he breathed heavily.

"Gon, what happened?" I asked noticing some bite marks on him and Leorio.

"We've... kind of got into some trouble," he smiled at me.

I sight heavily. "Oh... why am I not surprised," I mumbled checking top of their heads to check if they've have cached a cold. "Are those marks from snakes?" I asked taking Leorio's hand and checking the bites. They were small yet deep. So most likely from a venomous snake.

"Mhm. We were attacked in that cave because we wanted to get some badges," he answered lightly smiling.

"Hm... by the way, Gon who's that girl?" I said noticing a lightly green haired woman.

"Oh that! That is Leorio's opponent!" He said as he sat next to her. "I'm gonna leave this to you, like promised!" He said directly to the passed out woman as he put a badge with the number of 103 on her lap. Then he dug in her backpack taking out a badge with the number of 246. "However, yours goes to Leorio!" He smiled at her.

"Oh!" I blinked. "She was Leorio's opponent?"

Gon nodded. "Mhm! That's why we came in the cage on the first place!" he cheered bringing the badge to Leorio's suitcase.

I couldn't help but smile. "Gon, you are very special, aren't you?"

"Eh?" He said turning to me.

"Whenever someone's lost or sad, you always help them. No matter what. Someone like you is very rare to find, since sweet people like you are usually not that type of fighters," I said as I walked up to him and pat his head. He chuckled.

"Thank you Annya! Even so, I think you are as special and sweet as you say I am!" He said giving me a hug.

I laughed. "You know, if I had a brother, I wish that he could be like you!" I said as he leaned back.

"Really?" He smiled. "Well, if I had a sister too, then it would be nice if she was you!" He smiled brightly at me.

I guess me and Gon are similar. Our dads are Hunters, we both share this sweet bloodlust, we both are understanding and we both are quite short. Sometimes I wish he was my brother. Because then, I could understand how it feels like to be loved by that family love.
