I sit in a room with double sided mirrors. My handcuffs were off and two cups of water were on the table. We still had the dampeners. My sister Candice was brought in by Steve. He sits in front of us on the other side of the round table. Candice looks at me sad then looks away knowing she will get a scolding from Maria.
"For the record state your names" Steve asked. I notice he was dressed differently than before. He had jeans, a loose white t-shirt under a light plaid button down that he wore open. His blond hair was smoothly combed back and he couldn't get a small smirk to leave his face. He was happy.
"Aspen Sarkissian."
"Candice Sarkissian"
"Ages?" He wrote our responses on his notebook. I would think in a high tech place like this he would use at least a tablet.
"I'm twenty eight, she's twenty seven"
Steve smiles and looks down on his notes, writing the information.
"When did you start working for HYDRA?"
"I was born into it." I look at him determined. I don't get to see many people, if we were together I needed to remember him.
"Same" Candice looked at the table the whole time. Fidgeting a bit here and there.
"Did you ever think of leaving?"
Candice started breathing heavily. I reached out to hold her hand but she pulled away.
"Yes, several times."
"Um..no" I looked at her surprised, she was lying, not very well but still.
"Please tell us the truth" Steve noticed her lie "It will help you, that's all we are here to do, help"
"Please Candice." I plead with her. If any of my sisters wanted to leave it was her. She nods but stays silent.
"We need verbal confirmation Candice." Steve asked.
"Yes, I thought of leaving" She looked at me for the first time with a small smile, I smiled back and nodded at her.
"What are your abilities?"
"Electro cognition" I say smiling at him, he was blushing asking about it. I wondered why.
"Force fields" Candice slumped back on her chair.
"Last question.." He leaned forward on his chair cupping his hands together on top of the table "Do you want to go back?"
"NO" I said with no hesitation
"If...If Aspen stays I stay" I looked at her surprised. She wanted to stay with me. My sister wanted away from our mother too, right at this moment. I reach out one last time to hold her hand. She met me halfway and held my hand tightly. A tear threatened to leave my eyes.
Steve nodded and left the room for a moment. I took the opportunity to hug Candice.
"I'm so sorry I left you with her when I ran off." I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck.
"You didn't know about us, it's okay" She whispered into my ear. I played with her short black hair as I pressed her head against me hugging her tighter.
Steve walked back in with Wanda. I let go of my sister and stared at her. Since being here she had introduced herself but I still don't remember her.
"This might hurt okay Candice" She said to her.
"Wait, what are you going to do?" I put my arm in front of Candice protectively.
"She's just going to try and bring back any memories HYDRA may have erased." I look at my sister who nodded
