"Hey!" Without her knowing, Aimee snuck up on Lizzie and shouted in her ear so she'd jump.
My heart raced like it was an engine that needed to be kickstarted. "Oh my God, you scared me!" I could see a mischevious smirk on her face as I commented.
"I know, that's what I was going for." My face dropped.
"Ah, you bitch!" I playfully hit her and she followed along. We ended up stupidly slapping eachother like two little kids. Somehow, and I'll never know why, but we managed to play fight and get to our class on time. Now that's nifty friendship work. Haha, I love when things work out like that.
We lined up side by side as we waited for our French teacher to open the door to our class. We only had her twice a week, and she always managed to waste at least five minutes by locking the damn door each day. When will she learn not to do that? You hear the groans coming from everyone once she finally managed to open it.
"Come on, everyone get in." I felt a tap on my shoulder. "You'll stay with me Lizzie. Just for a moment." She smiled sweetly (with a small hint of sarcasm) to try and cover up the situation. Why do they do that? Is it because they want to keep you in suspense, or is it because they really can't be bothered with you?
My questions were soon answered. I was handed an envelope which most probably contained my crappy report card. She told me not to look at it, but when she traipsed back into class, her high heels clacking on the marble floor, I tore it open. This cannot be right.
"We know what you're doing, so shut up and walk around being the rich bitch you aren't."
Are they trying to black mail me? And why would they do it?!...
