Timehop again. Aimee's hip vibrated as the yearly flashbacks filled into one section on her phone. Click. Click. Drag. Aww.
There was a cute photo of her, Reno and Elizabeth from five years ago when they were eleven and they had just started high school. God how your teenage years complicate things. While she was happily reminiscing, Reno called her.
"Oh hey, Ree! Guess I found?" She was smiling all the while.
"What?"
"Oh, this cute photo of us all from when we were starting high school. You know, before Lizzy went all cray cray." Sigh.
"Yeah, I know. But we can't blame her. Her life has been pretty shit lately." Reno defended her friend.
"Mmm." Aimee said as if she wasn't sure whether to agree to say that Elizabeth wasn't all they thought she was. "True, I guess, but apparently principal Bridges wants her. Apparently she's done something terrible."
"Ah! Yeah! Maybe it was about that time she hit that girl, but God, isn't it a bit long now if you know what I mean?" There was silence for a moment.
"I suppose. But I still worry for her. I mean, Bridges is terrible! I wanna be there-" Mid sentence, she was cut off by Reno.
"No. Don't do that. She'll hate you. And you don't want her doing that."
"I suppose not. Maybe we should send her that Timehop pic."
"Yeah. To show her we're there for her."
"Yeah, so she knows she has us." They both smiled as they hung up the phone and sent her the exact same photo at the exact same time.
"Wait, what day is it?"
"Thursday the twenty eight. Why?" Said Aimee.
"Oh, no reason."

Elizabeth smiled just as she'd finished a day of school and walked to Mrs Bridges' office to be reprimanded. Considering she was going to be shouted at, she felt surprisingly good.
I have the best friends. She muttered to herself. She kept the both copies of that photo - she knew they were there for her. I need friends like that, and I'm so God damnglad to have them. Trying to have some authority about her she knocked as hard as she could on the door. Ow, I surely know how to hurt myself without enduring Physical Education. She snorted and the door opened to reveal a very stressed looking Laura Bridges.
"Come in darling." So Elizabeth couldn't see, she smirked when she had her back to her shutting the door. Once the lock had clicked in place, she turned on her heel. "So, how are you? I hear good things Elizabeth, all good things." She was going to enjoy this.
"Really?" A little sarcastic slash smile of a miniscule of hope lit up on her face.
