Cleo POV
The night was probably the funniest nights I've ever had in a long time, the squad was like a family to me. And I really did enjoy Y/ns company, as we drank we talked and talked. But of course it was ruined when a certain thinker showed up.
1st person POV
As I was talking to peacemaker he shifts his head to the left and faces the door, I turn to see where he's looking to see the thinker enter the bar.
Bloodsport: targets here squad
Captain boomerang: what's the plan then?
Just as bloodsport was about to make the plan Milton came in and told us about the soldiers that were about to swarm the place.
Bloodsport: ah shit!, Cleo and abner (polka dot mans name) you two take thinker to the van, Milton you go with, me peacekeeper, flag and boomer will cause a distraction, Y/n you help Cleo and abner
As we all nodded I helped escort thinker to the van out the back.
A guard was abt to attack us but I quickly punched him in the face knocking him out
Thinker: you have super speed? You would make a great experiment
Y/n: shut up old man
As we pushed thinker into the van I noticed the four other members get thrown into a squad van and start to drive off. I told Milton to tail the car but stay behind a decent bit. Abner and Cleo would stay in the van with king shark and thinker
And I'd tail the car on foot since I could catch up to it the quickest.
Once the van was prepared I quickly took off for the military vehicle that held the rest of the squad, as I ran through the night streets of corto Maltese I have to admit it is nice, the flashing lights and the loads of people walking by.
Y/n: how the fuck am I gonna stop a car!?
Wait I have an idea. I'll distract the drivers and get them to crash, hopefully the squad members won't get hurt.
I quickly run and jump onto the hood of the car and start to annoy the drivers, either by pulling faces or blocking there vision it wasn't working so I had another idea
I smashed my hand into the windshield and took control of the steering wheel making the vehicle swerve everywhere on the road. As I did this peacemaker blew a hole through the wall separating the other half of the truck, he peaks his head through the hole.
Peacemaker: Y/n!? What the fuck are you doing?
Y/n: saving you guys!
As I finished the sentence the car went off the road and crashed into a ditch, the crash sent me flying off the car onto the ground winding me for a moment, I needed five minutes or so to rest, as I rested for a moment the van with the other members pulled up.
Cleo: Y/N!! ARE YOU OKAY?
Y/n: yeah I'm fine, I just need a minute
As I finally look at the military van the other members shoot the door wide open and the other members appear out of the van.
Captain boomerang: thanks for the save again mate, it's like what the third save?
Y/n: damn right it is
Bloodsport: now we go to jotunheim
Rick flag: not yet, there's still one thing we gotta do first.
3 hours later
Peacemaker: are we really risking our lives for a mentally deranged woman who acts as if she's the court jester?!
Bloodsport: is this coming from the guy who has a toilet seat on his head?
Y/n: I mean he kinda has a point Harley isn't the most needed person for the team
Rick flag: yeah but Harley is one of ours we need to get her
King shark: new friends?
Y/n: yeah buddy new friends
As the van pulls up we go to set the plan up
Bloodsport: peacemaker you take a vantage point on that tower take out anyone in you way, Cleo and abner you two look out for any traffic or incoming reinforcements, Y/n when the plan goes down you run in and grab Harley everyone know what there doing?
We all nodded and headed to our positions, Cleo and abner started talking o look out for anyone or anything whilst rick and bloodsport ran beside the building, I took a running start position and skied myself up.
Rick flag: fire on 1..2.
Harley Quinn: who are you guys looking for?
Y/n: is that Harley Quinn?
Rick flag: we're here to get you!
Harley Quinn: you were coming to get me?
Rick flag: yeah and it was a really good plan to
After the introduction to Harley Quinn and the very confusing talk about how she escaped we all made camp at an abandon building near the project jotunheim base. Hopefully tomorrow we complete this mission and finally go home.
