Sighing once again, Sai got changed as quickly as he could in the locker room. The rest of the guys were busy chatting, though some were very quiet, so they did not notice him take his shirt off which exposed his scars. It wasn't like he hated his scars; he just didn't want any unnecessary attention.

He walked out of the locker room after the first person left, which happened to be Todoroki.

The half-and-half didn't make any attempts at conversation for which Sai was glad. He didn't want to talk unless he absolutely had to. Yes, he was a very anti-social guy.

Once everyone was lined up, Aizawa began talking.

"We are going to be doing a quirk assessment to see were you stand right now. In heroics, you need to improve any and all aspects of your being to be a good hero. And to do that, we need to know our limits. You've all done these tests in your middle school before. But today you'll be doing it using your quirks... Fujishima, you ranked first in the exams. Throw this ball as far as you can using your quirk."

Sai could feel a headache coming with how bad this day was going.

He silently walked up to the circle, taking the ball from Aizawa and wondered how much of his power he should use.

'Let's not go all out. But I think he'll know it if I don't.'

He turned to look at Aizawa, whose expression didn't change except for the curious gaze in his eyes.

"I can go all out?" Sai asked, gauging Aizawa's reaction.

"Yes," was the simple answer he got.

The boy shrugged and thought, 'Don't blame me if something is destroyed.' And threw the ball, boosting it with his telekinesis.

"In the world of quirks and heroes, how you use your powers is what matters," their teacher said as he displayed Sai's score.

"SIXTEEN THOUSAND METRES?!" The class burst out, yelling.

Excited chatter started among the students.

"Wow, this looks to be super fun!"

"Yeah! We get to use our powers and see how strong we are."

"All the best everyone!"

Sai could already tell that his teacher was not happy with their reactions.

"Sounds fun, you say? How about this then? The one who ranks last is going to be expelled."

Cue the cries of indignation.

Then the familiar brown-haired girl spoke up, "But that isn't fair! To be expelled on the first day is-"

"So would you say that villains, natural disasters, crime and death is fair?" Aizawa countered. "It's up to heroes to help out in such unfair scenarios. To bring hope. And to do that you all need to work harder. For the next three years, UA will push you past your limits to make you into such heroes. If you had plans to go to Mickey D's after school, well, too bad. You're going to be here after school working on becoming heroes. Now, without further ado, let's get started."

The rest of the tests weren't all that hard. They had to race in pairs of two on a 100 metre track to see how fast they could run. Sai apparently beat the fastest guy by one whole second. However, he was racing against Bakugou.

"2.67 seconds!" the machine said.

When Bakugou crossed the line, it said, "4.38 seconds!"

Sai watched Bakugou grit his teeth and let out small explosions from his hands out of frustration.
