The hallways were crowded. Everyone was panicking and rushing towards the exit, pushing anyone that came in the way. That caused Sai to be squished against a window with his face plastered to the glass.

'I hate this,' he couldn't help but think.

Suddenly he heard Iida's and Uraraka's voice. They hadn't noticed him but he had and was looking at what they were doing.
Iida had deviced a plan after noticing the press at the gates. He asked Uraraka to make him weightless. Once he was above the crowds, he used his quirk to speed himself towards the exit doors and yelled at the students to calm down and exit in an orderly fashion.

"Its just the press outside! There is no danger. So please proceed to exit in an orderly fashion and uphold your prestige as U.A. students!"

The students calmed down immediately. With a possible stampede now subdued, Sai exhaled a sigh of relief and let his tense form relax. Being in the presence of so many students when he was so used to sneaking around in the dark (with his profession) he really wasn't comfortable being in such a crowded space.
Everything settled down relatively quick after that. But something felt off to Sai.

As the hallways started to clear, Sai looked at the gates from where he was standing as best as he could. From what he could observe using a few aspects of his original quirk, he made out the fact that the gate had been disintegrated.

'It's starting,' he thought before making his way back to the classroom.

Without a doubt this was a direct indication of their plans. They would strike pretty soon. Sai had to be prepared. He sent out a few texts to Tsuki asking him to meet him at one of their temporary hideouts. He gave vague information about the nature of the meeting itself but he hoped that his best confidant would understand and be there on time.

The next day had a pretty slow start but there was a rise of interest when the rescue training had been announced at the end of the day for Hero Studies. With Aizawa going over the details of the training, Sai realized that they were going to be away from the campus.

Whether the class noticed Sai's fierce expression or not, he didn't know. Even if they did notice it, they didn't say anything. But Aizawa did seem to give him a once-over before continuing on to instructing the students to get changed and meeting him near the bus.

After getting dressed in his hero costume, which was luckily not damaged from the last training, he went to sit with the rest of students in the bus.

Iida was embarrassed because his seating plan had been ruined due to the open seating arrangement. Sai himself did not care much for his embarrassment and took a seat next to Tsuyu or Tsu (she had asked everybody to address her as that).

Chatter started around the bus once everyone was seated. Sai couldn't stop his anxious movements as he tapped his fingers on his knee while going through every possible scenario that could occur. For the most part, he figured everyone will make it out alive as long as he had something to do with it.

As he was thinking, the conversation had somehow shifted to him.

"I think that in the pro scene, Bakugou, Fujishima and Todoroki would be a pretty big hit with their flashy quirks," Kirishima said while pounding his fists together.

"I think you'd be a pretty impressive pro as well, Kirishima-san," Sai said before he could stop himself. "You have a pretty good quirk."

The red-head blushed a bit as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment from the unexpected compliment.

"Ah, thanks Fujishima. But it still isn't as impressive as Todoroki's or Bakugou's quirks."

"That doesn't matter. I think your quirk is very good for both defence and offence. There's multiple uses of your quirk. Of course, it goes without saying that a quirk isn't strong on it's own as well. The user makes it strong. So have faith in yourself, Kirishima-san. You'll be great."
