"Oh, ho! Desperate times call for desperate measures," Present Mic continued with his announcer activities. "And the last three minutes have called for a collab between team Todoroki and team Bakugou! Is this what they call teaming up to take down a common enemy?"

Sai ignored the announcement and observed the cavalry formation Todoroki had decided to form in an attempt to take his team down. Meanwhile, the offensive players of both the teams had decided to launch a collective attack to distract Sai's own team away from the cavalry team.

'So, they aren't dumb afterall.'

The black-haired boy finally made the call to just observe the situation. He had already taken the previous round. It wasn't because of any feelings of sportsmanship. He just wanted to see what the students of the hero course had the offer outside of the classroom. And when he saw Iida gearing up, he understood what they were about to do.

'Speed is the answer they chose?'

Deciding to let them have it, and to keep his cover intact, he pretended not to see it coming. Though with the glare Todoroki was throwing his way, he guessed the boy already saw him looking their way.

"One minute left! Who will emerge as the victor?!"

Just then Todoroki's impromptu cavalry shot towards Sai. Iida using his family's secret technique with torque, Yaoyorozu having made roller skates for everyone helped them glide along with the motion. But the added blast that Bakugou provided helped them reach unbelievable speeds. And allowed them to travel at breakneck speeds just to snatch the headband which was tied around Sai's head.

To others, it might have looked like the cavalry teleported and the flashes and bangs came later. But their opponent wasn't some random guy who would be knocked down with just this. Due to the speed, Todoroki wasn't able to react in time for Sai's outstretched hands to grab the half-and-half boy's own headband.

Just as they secured the headband, Present Mic announced the end of this round with an air horn that rendered everyone's ears ringing.

"Wow! Wasn't that just amazing, everyone? It seems that at the last moment, Team Todoroki tried to turn the tables on Team Fujishima. Let's review the results!"

Everyone's attention went to the scoreboard which was opposite the mc stand, where Present Mic and Aizawa were sitting. The scores shocked everyone.

Team Todoroki, while they had managed to come out on top, were not careful enough to consider the possibility of Sai taking his own headband. This oversight led Team Fujishima and Team Bakugou to be tied.

"What's this, what's this? It seems Fujishima isn't going to give up early and now they face a tie with Team Bakugou!"

Midnight serving as the referee had been assessing the entire round.

"Since we have a tie between these two teams, it calls for a Tie-Breaker Battle Royale! Team Todoroki can go back to the stands to rest. The one who emerges victor out of both the teams, will go ahead into the final round."

Fujishima sighed with a smile on his face and turned to face his team.

"Well, good job on holding out for so long everyone. Let's be prepared for the next round. We won't let them win this time," the black-haired boy encouraged his team.

The team returned his encouragement with a smile and a look of determination. They had struggled to get this far, they'll make sure they can make it further.

"Until the next round's tie-breaker is decided, we are going to have a short break for sports festival activities for the students who didn't make it to this round. Students who have made it till the second round can also take part in this activity. So gather around dear participants!"
