Using his spear, Sai fought off any attackers that dared to approach him. Among the yells of pain of the villains he was sweeping the ground with, the yells of his classmates and teachers were lost.
'There's too many to fend off alone. They just keep coming.'
He grew tired of the motions quickly and sent telekinetic force out of his body which blew the villains away a quite few metres away. Even with that, a new surge of villains took their place.
Sai could feel his control slipping. His clairvoyance suddenly showed him how his classmates had been sent to different zones of the USJ and right now Tsu and Mineta were stuck in the shipwreck zone. Clicking his tongue, Sai flew over to the shipwreck zone; of course, not before he knocked a few more villains out and let Eraserhead jump into the fray.Tsuyu and Mineta were on the ship (that was luckily still intact) surrounded by several villains that seemed to have quirks that gave them an advantage in the water. But with the way they were making no moves, it was clear that they had no idea about the quirks of the students or they wouldn't have sent Tsuyu here. He flew over there quickly, letting Eraserhead take care of the rest, and asked for a rundown about their quirks.
"I can basically do anything a frog can," said Tsuyu.
"And I have sticky balls that stick anywhere for however long I want," Mineta picked up after Tsu.
Sai thought about it for a bit and proposed his idea. He instructed Mineta to throw his balls into the water and then grabbed Tsuyu and Mineta before flying over the water with his quirk. As soon as he was directly above them, he sent a telekinetic force so strong that a whirlpool was created in the water. All the villains got stuck in the huge whirlpool while he flew with the two students to safety. While landing, he felt his control over his quirk dwindle and landed with too much force that it left cracks on the ground.
"Stay near the water until I signal you to get to the pavilion. Got it?" He addressed the two as he studied the fight between Shigaraki and Eraserhead.
"Yes."
By the time he had finished instructing them, the huge bird villain and the villain with hands all over him had noticed his presence.
"Kill him."
With that he flicked Shigaraki away from his teacher just as he was about to disintegrate Aizawa's elbow. The periwinkle-haired man growled as he landed in a crouch fifteen metres away from Aizawa. While the bird villain attacked him.
"Problem child, what are you doing?! Stay away from here and get to the entrance pavilion with the rest of your classmates."
Sai sighed as he spared a wary glance towards his teacher, all the while doing his best to dodge the Nomu's attacks. "Sir, no offence but my deal with this guy is sorta personal."
Aizawa was shocked as he studied his surprisingly, yet not so surprisingly, unharmed student.
"You know him?"
"In a superficial way. His people have done some terrible shit to me and to the people I cared about," Sai said as he got back into a fighting stance. "Now he's here trying to destroy the one place I associated to safety. I'm not about to let him taint it."
As soon as he finished talking, the Nomu succeded in landing a hit on him and sent him flying to the other end of USJ.

."Do you know what's so great about this kid?"
He heard a gravely, rough voice say as he lay on a cold surface. He could feel the coolness of the metal underneath him seeping into his skin and into his muscles. Where was he?
