BIIIING! BIIIING! BIIIIING! My alarm clock screamed out into the dark room. I quickly shut it off, not wanting to wake Scarlet. It was six thirty, and I was to go out to the barn to ride today.
I changed into some light tan riding breeches and a hunter green polo before pulling on my tall boots. After I applied some eye liner and mascara, I brushed my blond hair out and brushed my straight teeth. Grabbing my phone, I made my way down to the cafeteria.
The campus was stunning, the sun was barely peeking out of the mountains in the background.
Walking in the cafeteria, I saw only a few teachers there. I quickly grabbed an apple and a to-go sweet tea.

"Hey pretty boy." I called to Keller as he poked his big head out to greet me. I stroked his speckled neck and gave him a few treats out of my locker. Tying him up, I got my tack out and started grooming him. The luring motion of the brushes over his soft body made me calm. After I picked out his huge hooves, I placed my blue and white chevron saddle pad on and my show jumping saddle. Slipping on his fancy stitch bridle, we were off to the giant arena.

Mounting, I saw a boy with shaggy brown hair riding a Selle Francais light gray mare. They flew over the last triple oxer of the coarse. I tore my eyes off of him and started trotting Keller on the wall. As we worked, Keller wouldn't bend around my leg. I struggled for a while, until I scolded him.

"Um, mind if I help you?" I heard a male voice speak. I turned to see the boy riding the mare. I noticed his striking Aqua eyes. They pierced me, going straight thru me.

"Um, sure" I said, finding my voice.

"Why don't you try to get him to walk in a extremely tight circle." He smiled.

Dang. He was cute.

"Sure. Like that will work." I snorted.
I did as he told me, then asked him to trot, and he bended around my leg perfectly.

"Tha-" I started, then saw he was no where to be seen.

"Good job Ella, chasing away people already" I grumbled to my self.

I trotted Keller to the end of the ring and hopped off, and grabbed my reins and ran after the boy.

I saw him walking towards a trail, and ran after him calling "Hey! Hey you on the mare!"
He turned around, and his eyes met mine.

"Yea?" He asked with a adorable lop sided grin.

"I'm, I'm really sorry. I was a jerk, and it worked. Your trick." I quickly apologized.

"It's alright" he laughed. He had this warm and inviting laugh. Everything about this boy was cute. The was he sat on his horse, his voice, his eyes, even his easy manner. "Want to go back in, you warm up, and il critique you over some jumps?"

"Yea! Only if you want!"

Before I knew it, I was flying over a three foot course.

Keller bounded up to a oxer. At the right time I folded in two point position, and landed with a thud.

Doing a rollback, I saw the last jump, a huge triple oxer. Keller collected him self, and tucked his knees in, and we were in mid air.

"Poof" I heard as we landed.

"That was amazing! Oh my gosh! Your like, great!" The mysterious boy compliment.

"Oh wow, thank you." I blushed.

I walked Keller over to the mare, she was a light gray, almost white, and a think white mane. She had a confident look in her soft warm eyes.

"You never told me your name, mystery boy" I joked.

"Ah, I guess I didn't did I? I'm Logan, Logan Simmons. And this is Majestic Treasures, or Magic. She's a Selle Francais." He confirmed with a pat on her silky neck.
"And who are you, young lady" he laughed out.

"I'm Ella Grace, just call me El. And this handsome boy," I looked down, "is Gone Platinum, or Keller."

"Shall we go?" Logan asked with a smirk.

Nodding, we headed to the barn. When we got their, I saw Jax tacking up Master.

"Hey Logan" she smiled.

"Hey Jax." He replied quickly.

"Il see ya around El" Logan said grinning at me.

Waving, I halted Keller when Jax looked dead at me.

"Why was he talking to you? I thought he had good taste?" She snorted.

"Oh trust me he does!" I said in a bright voice, "by talking to me and trying to stay clear of you."

"You better watch your back! Your gonna pay!" Jax yelled before stomping off.

"How are we gonna survive?" I asked Keller as we walked to our stall.
