I started to walk out of the arena, and gave Sterling a big pat on the neck.
"Good boy! Good boy Sterly!" I cooed to him. He lowered his neck and breathed in deeply. I swung my leg over his back and threw my self off the saddle. Once I got down I ran my stirrups up and took his reins over his neck.
"You were so good! Good boy!" I said once again.
"Don't be so sure of your self" Jax sneered behind me.
I whipped around to see her and Master. She had a smirk on her face and Master was breathing heavily.
"I watched your round. You flopped around in the saddle and the bucks he gave? It's amazing if Mr. Odell doesn't kick you out of the school for being so bad!" She said, venom lathering her voice.
"Actually, your not supposed to watch try outs, and he's green to jumping, and on top of that Mr. Odell said that I did really great. So maybe get your facts straight before you speak" I said with a smile.
"Well Mr. Odell doesn't know what to do with you, that's why he said that. You should watch Master, that's how a horse should look." She remarked.
"Oh well not every one has a horse that does everything for them." I said, as I gave Sterling a pat on his red neck.
"Maybe if you lost a few pounds, fatso, you would be a better rider." She laughed and walked off, leaving me at a lost for words.
Tears welled in my eyes, I was fat? That's how people saw me? Fat? I walked in the barn with my head low, tears on my cheeks. I made my to Sterlings stall, and we both walked in. After getting his saddle off and bridal off, I rubbed his saddle mark away and gave him some apple treats before speed walking to the dorm.
So I'm fat, I need to lose weight. I thought of the fastest way to drop some pounds, don't eat. As I walked into the dorm room, I felt a rush of cool air hit me. I quickly took heavy steps up the stairs and unlocked my door. After going in, changing into comfy clothes and laying down, Scarlet came in tired as well.
"Hey! After I get ready want to head to the Cafe for something sweet?" She asked.
I thought before saying "I can't, I uh, have some work to make up"
She gave me a skeptical look before saying "Ok, well, Cameron is going to be there, and I know how good of friends y'all are so"
"Ok I will go, but don't be locking lips with Chase" I grumbled.
Her face went a deep shade of Crimson before running into the bathroom.
---
Scarlet and I were walking to the Cafe to meet up with Katherine, Anna, Chase, and Cameron. She had on a pair on white shorts with a lilac flowey shirt. I on the other hand wore a pair of slimming dark skinny jeans and a loose fitting dark pink shirt with the words 'Live life to the fullest' on it in a scripty font. My black flats clicked as we walked. I planed on not getting anything, just a water.
Once we got there, I saw our crowd seated at a big booth.
"Hey!" Scarlet called, and we sat down.
"Ok so the orderer is coming" Chase said. On one side Chase and Cameron were sitting together, with Scarlet beside him. On the other side, Anna sat across from Cameron, then Katherine then me. A tall boy came over, and people started to say what they wanted.
"A double chocolate chip cookie and water" Anna said.
Katherine then ordered a smoothie, Cameron got a chocolate cake slice, Scarlet and Chase shared a double scoop of ice cream, and I ordered a water. Once he left, everyone looked at me.
"Just a water?" Anna asked.
"Yea out of all the stuff here a water?" Cameron added.
"Come on guys, that's all I wanted" I defended.
"You sure?" Kat asked.
"Yes I'm sure" I concluded with a roll of my eyes.
"Well at least you will eat super" Chase tried to lighten the mood.
"El, come on. Get something" Scarlet prodded on.
I was really getting annoyed, I was trying to do what was best for me. Eating sweets wasn't one of them!
"You know what!" I sneered. "I'v got homework to do!"
I got up and stomped out side and started to walk back to the dorms. The sun was slowly setting behind the huge mountains. A few people sat out on the benches, and under trees.
Why couldn't they get over that I didn't want to eat? If they were going to act like that then I would never tell them my plan. I would think that Cameron would at least be on my side.
I was shaken out of my thoughts as I heard my named called.
"Ella?" I turned around to see Logan.
"What." I said plainly.
"I'm really sorry-" he started, but I cut him off sharply.
"I'm not in the mood! Just leave me alone!"
Quickly walking off, tears again for the second time that day, rimmed my eyes.
