"Easy boy" I call to Keller as we go from a rocking canter to a bouncy trot.
It was Saturday evening, and I was pushing time to ride until Sunday evening, and go to school Monday and be able to try out for the advanced team Tuesday.
I had just finished warming up in the massive indoor arena. I saw a few big jumps set up, and a warmup cross rail. The scariest jump was the giant four foot Swedish Oxer. I had done four foot jumps so many times, and competed at that level more times than I could count. I just didn't like the look of the jump. I looked on the jumps, and saw a neon yellow vertical, the colors meant to scare horses. In the midst I heard an all too familiar voice.

"Oh, you again?" I looked over to see the striking blond.

"Yes Jax?" I ask with a tired expression.

She looked over at me and said with a snort "Stay outa my way would you?"

Dismissing her from my thoughts, I asked for a ground covering canter. Keller easily plopped over the small jump as I perch in my perfected two point. I keep him going and let him pick up speed as we come to the yellow vertical. 3..2..1. I count, and we are suspended in the air.

"Tuck your elbows in, and push him to the Swedish Oxer!" I hear Jax tell to me.

Nodding, I do a tricky turn, and we are coming up to the humongous jump.

"Push! Goo!" Jax yells once again.

I apply strong leg power, to get him to the right distance, and we flew over the jump. I heard his hooves land, and I gave him lots of affection for jumping so beautifully.

"Why? Why did you just help me?" I laugh.

This time I see Jax smile slightly "Your not so bad if you listen to me."

All I do is turn Keller around and walk to the barn, I did not want to get caught in her silly games. It would only mean trouble that I didn't want to get caught up in.

I took my saddle off of Keller and unbuckled and slipped his bridal off. Stretching out his mighty jaws, he grunted deeply.

"I know bud, we didn't even get to do anything. We will go to every indoor and outdoor ring and even a pasture or the cross country corse to be alone to practice. Tryouts are Tuesday Keller, Tuesday!" I talked to him. He gave me a look as if to say, everything is going to be ok, you have me by your side. Just that small thing made me calm down and chill.

After grooming, giving him more treats than he could eat, I put him out and made my way back to the dorm at 7:30. On the way I saw a cute courtyard, and a small cafe nestled in. I wandered in, and found a seat. It was a small building with a black and pink over hang in the front. Inside was a bar and a few small booths and some tables with chairs. I walked up to the bar and saw a tall brunette waiting to take my order.

"I'd like a.... sweet tea and a slice of chocolate cake." I ordered and slide my student card.

Getting my things to go, I made my way back to my dorm. Unlocking the door, I heard Scarlet playing soft music inside.

"Hey!" She smiled, curling her shiny hair.

"Hiya! I rode and found a cafe and got some food" I smiled and sat down in my desk chair under my bed.

"You won't believe what happened!" I shot up.
"Ok so I was riding and Jax helped me and like was nice! I just left though cause I mean I didn't want to get hung up in her little games" I explained.

"Thats smart, yea don't pay attention to her" Scarlet confirmed.

"That's what I'm planning on" I said, and bit into my moist cake.
