The hot air hung as I trekked on to the dorm Friday afternoon. Lessons had been cancelled all week and were to be started back Saturday morning due to a meeting Mr. Odell had. Scarlet went with her boyfriend to go have a night out at the movies and a walk, so I was all alone. Katherine was with her boyfriend, and the twins with Anna.
This week was hell.
Logan hated my guts still. He just wanted to make my life terrible. He started hanging out with the Deadly Duo or the DD (Jax and Abigail)
. With me trying to lose weight, I was a sick and weak person. Jax kept saying stuff hinting about my weight, and she was only making me want to lose weight faster. Then there was Cam. He was mad too. He said that I had been ill lately. Sadly he was the only free person I knew tonight, therefor he would end up calling. Over the past few days we got pretty close. He always got his way, which was funny considering I was the same way.
After unlocking my door, I plopped down all my stuff onto the plush carpet and made my way to my loft. Deciding to try and go see Sterling. Everyone still went out to see their horses, and rode as well. I just kept lounging Sterly, due to the fact that I didn't want to waste energy riding when I had none to begin with.
Trying to make excuses as to why I shouldn't eat was harder then I thought. I ended up getting up very early to go and "eat". I actually just went to the barn and would hang out with my handsome boy. I did the same in the afternoons, I guess I was pretty smart. Sterling was more than happy to see me everyday, he would always poke out his sculpted head and nicker to me.
My phone started ringing and brought me out of my thoughts. I had been on the computer looking up ways to lose weight, so far I had dropped 6 pounds this week.
"Hello" I said into my iPhone.
"Oh hi El." I heard Cameron on the other end.
"What do you want?" I asked laughing.
"What do you say if we went for a walk, catch up with each other. We have barley even talked all week." He said.
We was right. I had almost no time to talk with trying to avoid everyone. Cam and I had texted a lot, but hadn't seen each other in person. Of course we weren't a thing, I liked him as a friend, but he kept acting like I was his property and that I was his. I had seen a few guys I thought were date worthy, so I needed to keep a boundary between friends and relationship.
"Sounds like a plan!" I said.
"Il see you at the barn in thirty then?" He asked.
"You got it."

After freshening my makeup and changing into a pair of white shorts and a flowey teal shirt with the words "Don't look back" on it in in a cursive font, I was ready to go. I slipped on my white flats and locked the door behind me.
The short walk to the barn was beautiful. The sun was bright and people were walking around campus. The grass was as green as an emerald jewel. The was the sun was dropping on it made it a glittery collage. The sky was blue and no clouds were to be seen.
I saw people going on trail rides, and practicing in the ring. Jax flew over a vertical and Master landed on the other side with a loud snort.
"There you are" Cam said from behind me.
He was in a pair of khakis and a faded bright blue shirt. His Sperrys contrasted great with what he was wearing.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Soooo..." He said and we turned towards a restaurant. "How's this sound?"
"Uh" I said, and panic set in my beating heart.
