Chapter 21: Last Aid

  I was standing in front of the gate next to James and his captains that included Miyamoto and Zyair. The vice commander Blake approached us as there were these military vehicles behind him. James says ''Is that your whole division Vice commander Blake?'' Blake responds '' No, I have over 257 soldiers in my command but since you asked me only to bring 97 soldiers only I divided them and assign the rest of them with the duty to protect some other stops until we return'' Miaymoto asked ''Why not go all out James?'' James responds '' Moving with so much will take longer to travel and also might alarm other regions of our movement or bring us too much attention'' Stone said '' God it will be a long trip'' as he enters one of the cars that had a soldier standing in middle. Anna said '' Hey sit next to me, Stone is too huge to sit next to'' Gabriel said ''Yeah.. let Miyamoto sit next to him.'' Miyamoto said ''I don't mind stop talking about stone like that'' Anna giggles as James laughs and says '' Let's move, we got a long way ahead of us.'' Zyair said ''Are we gone do this without him?'' James didn't say anything as he went inside the car. The gate opens as we start traveling to our destination. James is sitting in front of me as Zyair is on his left as his on right is a soldier and a soldier standing in middle. Stone and Miyamoto or in another car. Some cars had soldiers standing in the middle some didn't.

  I asked James " what's the plan exactly James?" James replied " We will travel to a ruin but we will have to make a stop first," Anna said " Hope the road will be clear though I hate when we have to deal with trouble without notice," Zyair said " Yeah we will ask them to send us a note next time before they attack," Anna said " Very funny". The car suddenly stopped in the middle of the way and the soldier standing in the middle of the car started shooting as the soldier in the middle of our car gets shot and fell down. He was shot in the shoulder, Gabriel and the soldier grabs the guy and started taking care of him. Anna said, " oh great here we go". I took the rifle preparing myself. We opened the door as it seems we were being shot by people standing on a cliff. We were taking cover behind the car. Their attacks were organized and they didn't give us a chance to shoot back. The knifes started floating around Anna as Zyair scythe appeared out of nowhere preparing themselves to counter-attack. The instant Anna wanted to attack, a guy jumped on her pushing her back to the floor as few dozens of demon worshippers were attacking the cars. I shoot the guy with the rifle in his head as I looked at Anna she barely got up on her feet as the ones on the cliff started shooting at her targeting her, I screamed "Anna". Her hands were in front of her as I saw the bullets flying in the air close to her. Zyair screamed, " help her out she can't keep this up for too long". I tried to shoot back but in the instant, I showed myself they shoot at me and I was forced to take cover again. 2 demon worshippers jumped on the car as they charged towards Zyair and same instant 4 demon worshipers charge towards Anna. Anna deflect the bullets that were floating around her at them and her own knives. It hits 2 of them. Zyair scythe penetrates the guy who charged at him as he jumps and rotates in the middle of the air and before he lands his other scythe was thrown towards one of the guys that were charging towards Anna. I shoot the last one of them in his back 3 shots with the rifle. They started shooting at Anna again as she focuses her ability to make the bullets float around her the second they get close to her.

  Gabriel got out of the car and he took his dagger out, aim above the car, and tries to blind the shooters with the light coming out of his dagger. It wasn't enough to stop the shooting. We were in a bad situation as the shooting was so heavy on us. Stone was covered with rocks as he was running towards Anna. Anna lets the bullets fall on the ground and he grabs her giving her cover from bullets. Then suddenly the shooting at us stopped, I used that opportunity to shoot them. I aimed my gun at them showing part of my head and arms. I saw them shooting at each other. I was confused as Gabriel said "Great timing.". Someone with 2 revolvers was shooting them in the head as the instant they aim their guns at him he disappears and appear behind one of them shooting him in his head as they turned to him he appeared to the side of another guy aim his revolver on his head and shoot them they were panicking. Miyamoto was killing the rest of them on the ground as the soldiers helped him as well. Zyair said ''He really likes to show off'' as he looked at the guy standing on the cliff. He was wearing a black trench coat, cowboy hat as he looks towards us.
