I kept walking as I could feel myself getting more drained from the blood I am losing but I have to keep walking I have to distract them to pull them away from Sam and the others. I must keep walking if I go to the woods I must keep walking. If I go to the woods, the smell of blood will attract them towards me and so they will stop searching in the town for the four who I helped them escape. I heard the car; it was behind me. I knew they caught their hook. I hid behind a car, got my gun ready and waited at the turn. The moment I saw the car I fired at the front seat, causing their crash in a building. To my surprise, there was another car. They start shooting at me after seeing what happened to their allies. I quickly took cover and slowly crawled to the side of the car. They stopped the car, right in front of my cover, got out of the car and aimed their guns at the exact spot I was hiding. ''One said, you've got nowhere to hide, come out and stop resisting.'' I tried to move my head above the car to peek at the severity of the situation, the second I did, bullets flew all over forcing me to take cover once again. It was a peak, but it was enough to know their placements, and they thought I would give up that easily. Two of them were hiding behind the car and two were in front of it and making slow steps towards me. Roughly I could point to where they were, so I pulled my gun up as my body was hiding behind the car and started to shoot in their direction. The recall made me in excruciating pain, but I kept shooting. I heard a scream as one of them said ''shit he shot me''. I emptied my bullets at them.

I had a plan in my mind, I said ''I give up'' and threw my gun on the hood of the car, and laid down, wound side to the ground. One of them said '' you just killed our friend and injured the other, do you think we will spare you?'' I replied ''if I am not wrong, your boss would want a skilled man like me, I was the perpetrator of the massacre on you. As I am saying that I pulled my gun slowly from my back. One said: ''fair point, get out of there''. I said: ''I can't move anymore, I am already unarmed, I need you to come and help me''. I sit down again and wave my hand from the top of the car to show them that I am unarmed. And then lowering them down I moaned in pain, it was not too hard to fake it since I already am in a lot of pain. They could smell the blood; they knew I was wounded. So, one of them said: ''alright then, I'll come and get you, but better not try something funny''. Luckily for me, they were not controlled by the lust of blood, or else they would have eaten me by now. The guy approached in high alert, I waited for him to get very close to the car and then I grabbed my shot guns with one of my hands, and the second he reached the side of the gun, I shot him on the side of the head, I moved the slide of the shotgun down then back up.

The screams of the guy on the floor never stopped, saying ''I am dying, I need urgent help''. I could hear his breath in my place, ''I ... n-need blood'', his voice was changing, and then I heard a sudden gunshot, the friend that was tending to the wounded, had killed him. It seems it was out of fear, having a raging demon desperate for blood is dangerous even for them.I crawled to the side of the car, then quickly moved up and shot the last man standing, but he shot me too, however the shot only scratched my left arm. I pumped the shell out. I reloaded on ammunition and added a rifle to my collection, then I cautiously approach the car placing my wounded bleeding body on the driver's seat, as I heard one of the guys who was in the other car that crashed in the building make a sound as if he were re-gaining, he consciousness, at this point I am very familiar with the process, I aim my rifle at the car and opened fire. I could hear the engine of another car, and so I took off deeper into the woods. Seems I am being chased by two cars not too far behind me, which is how I can tell their probable number.
