A couple of weeks have passed and a picture of Chris and Ellie leaving the ER has surfaced and making its way around social media. Chris is out of town for work, leaving Ellie alone to deal with the press.

'Eri, why don't you call him and tell him?' Erik said as he got done washing the dishes.

'I don't want to bug him. All I have to do is stay at home and they will soon forget about it.' Ellie giggled as she got up form the breakfast table.

'You can't stay away for too long, El. Sooner or later, your bump will start to show and you won't be able to hide it.' Erik said, leaving Ellie speechless.

Erik left and went back to work leaving Ellie alone in her grandma's house. She made her way to the home office after grabbing her laptop and iPad from her room.

'Well, let's see if we can find something about Amma's parents.' She said to herself. She typed in Iona Yuel on the search bar and hit search. First article that came up was a devastating one but she had to read it.

IONA, FIANCE, AND HER TWINS, PRONOUNCED DEAD TWO WEEKS AFTER FATAL CAR ACCIDENT

Ellie read through the article and found herself crying. At the end of the article there was a picture of a little girl wearing a black dress leaning over a casket. In the caption it read

KASANDRA FAYE STAN, 8 YEARS OLD, SAYS GOODBYE TO BOTH HER BIOLOGICAL PARENTS

Ellie immediately exited out. She found herself sobbing and feeling really sad. Her grandma never talked about her life growing up, except for her being in the limelight majority of her childhood. She immediately pulled out her phone from her pocket and called Chris. He didn't answer so she just left him a voicemail.

'Chris... I just want to say that I miss you. Call me when you get this please.' Ellie got up from her seat, grabbed her iPad and made her way to the garage. She debated if she really want to go drive around or not, but as sadness took over, she decided she needed some fresh air to clear her mind.

With a full tank of gas in her Jeep Wrangler she made her way south to Chula Vista. She drove around trying to clear her mind but ended up at her ex's, house in Otay Ranch. She parked her jeep on the street, grabbed her backpack and made her way to the front door. Ellie is still good friends with her ex and his family, she's still treated like a family. She rung the doorbell and after a couple of minutes the door opened.

'Ellie, come in, come in.' Sandra said.

'How are you?' Ellie asked as she was taking her shoes off by the door.

'I'm good. How are you?' Sandra hugged her and smiled, 'Zeke honey! Ellie's here!' Sandra called out for her son.

'I'm doing fine. Just going through something.' Ellie bit her lip stopping her self from crying.

'Sweetheart, I can read you like a book. Come sit' Sandra patted Ellie's back and made her way to the kitchen.

Zeke came down the stairs as soon as Ellie sat down.

'Ellie! You're here!' Zeke, a 9 year old boy ran to Ellie and hugged her

'Hey, buddy. How are you?' Ellie hugged her back.

'I missed you. You never come over anymore.' Zeke pouted.

'I'm sorry. I just got really busy. But I promise I'll come visit more now that I lived to my Amma's house.' Ellie smiled.

'Really?!' Zeke hugged her again.

'Yes, really.'

Ellie's phone started ringing and she grabbed it from her pocket. It's Chris. 'Mom, can I take this up at Zeke's room?'
