Bringing the past back...

"Stay here." Chris told Ellie as he put his boxer briefs on and a shirt and ran downstairs. "Zeke!" He called out, "Where are you?"

"Hey, Chris." Emika said as she walked out of the kitchen.

"Emika, what are you doing here?" Chris asked.

"Visiting my baby sis." Emika said.

"Give me a sec, let me go get her." Chris turned around and ran up the stairs.

He went straight to the closet and got properly dressed. "Emika's downstairs." Chris said as he emerged from the closet.

"WHAT?!" Ellie got up and stormed downstairs with Hope. She put hope in her bassinet and walked towards the living room where Emika was talking to Zeke.

"Zeke, honey, can you look after your sister, she's in her bassinet in the office." Ellie told Zeke.

"Yes, mommy." Zeke ran and disappeared in the hallway.

"What are you doing here?" Ellie asked Emika.

"This is my house too, you know." Emika rolled her eyes.

"A year of no contact, then I receive a package from you with sonogram pictures and pictures of you and Chris and you dare show your face here?!" Ellie shouted.

"He was mine a long time ago, and then you came along." Emika shouted back as she got up from the couch.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Chris said as he entered the living room.

"I don't know, ask your wife." Emika snapped at Chris. Ellie shook her head at Emika with pleading eyes. "So you haven't told him?" Emika rolled her eyes, "Oh my god, Ellie. Your husband deserves to know what happened in the past!."

"What? What happened in the past? You mean us? That's ancient history, buried deep in the ground." Chris chuckled and walked over to Ellie.

"So, are you going to tell him, or should I?" Emika grinned at Ellie. Ellie walked over to a safe and took the contents out.

"Here." She handed them to Chris as tears slowly fall down her cheeks. Chris looked through the pics and letters and when he was done he looked at Ellie who is now crying quietly on the side, then to Emika, and back to Ellie.

"Yes, Chris. I was pregnant." Emika said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Chris asked Emika throwing the stuff on the coffee table.

"You were just starting out with your career, I didn't want to ruin it for you." Emika explained. "I loved you Chris. I never stopped." Emika admitted, "Seeing you with Ellie makes me so angry. It should have been me!" She shouted towards Ellie. "You always get what you want, you were always the favorite." She walked over to Ellie and slapped her.

"GET OUT!" Chris shouted at Emika as he rushed towards Ellie's side. Emika didn't fight it and just left.

Ellie broke from Chris's grip and ran upstairs to her studio and locked herself in. Chris followed and knocked.

"Babe, can we talk? Please." Chris said from the other side of the door.

"Dad, what's going on?" Zeke said as he saw Chris upstairs outside the studio door.

"Nothing, bud. I was just checking on your mom." Chris smiled and lead him back downstairs. They both went to the office and grabbed Hope and went to the living room to watch TV.

"Eri-chan." Erik answered.

"Are you busy?" Ellie asked as she started crying.

"Not really. What's up? Why are you crying?" Erik asked as he closed up shop and ran to his car.
