A mistake?

Chris was laying on the bed laughing at something that he's watching on his phone when Ellie came out of the bathroom. Chris looked at her, admiring how she looks. She was wearing a black tank top, and Chris' jammies with the waist band rolled making it rest on her hips. She took the towel off her hair and started towel drying but stopped when she saw Chris staring.

'What?' She asked, confused.

'Just admiring your beauty.' Chris admitted.

'So... if I'm staying here for the weekend... I can sleep on the couch.' Ellie smiled and continued to towel dry her hair.

'Who says you're sleeping on the couch?! You're sleeping right here.' Chris patted the bed and grinned.

'Uhm...' Ellie blushed and bowed her head as she felt a smile on her face.

'It's alright, I'll sleep in Scott's room.' He smiled.

'Are you sure? I mean, I can sleep there and you just sleep here in your room.' Ellie started to babble.

'El, it's alright.' Chris got up and held her hand. 'Hey, calm down.' Chris pulled her close and held her. Ellie felt calmness that she has never felt before. She felt her whole body relax and Chris pulled away and smiled at her. They both laughed when Ellie's stomach growled. 'Come on, let's order from Doordash.' Chris lead her to the living room after handing her her phone.

'Can I at least buy dinner?' Ellie said as she sat comfortably on the couch with her knees up to her chin and started browsing food options on the app.

'But you're my guest. I should be taking care of you.' Chris sat beside her and put an arm around her shoulder pulling her close to him.

Ellie looked up, 'Please.' She smiled her I-get-what-I-want smile.

'Fine. But for the rest of the weekend, I will take care of everything.' Chris shook his head as he grinned.

'Deal.' Elli smiled and went back to looking at food. 'So, what does Mr. Evans usually eat?' She looked up at him and saw him grinning. 'Christopher...' Ellie raised an eyebrow.

'What?!' He laughed and kissed her forehead. 'I'll eat anything. Surprise me?'

'You sure about that?' Ellie asked and Chris nodded. She had a big grin on her face as she ordered them dinner. 'And all we gotta do is wait for our food.' She set her phone on the side table and curled up.

'You seem okay now. Are you okay?' Chris asked her.

'Yeah. It's the medication. It's technically a sedative but it makes me feel alright and not have an anxiety attack for twelve hours.' Ellie smiled.

'Do you have a stream tonight?' Chris asked when he noticed Ellie zoning out.

'I actually do but I can reschedule.' Elli took her phone and opened the twitter app.

'What are you doing?' Chris grabbed her phone and saw that she was about to tweet about the stream being cancelled for that night. 'Streaming soon with special guest @ChrisEvans... and tweet.' Chris handed Ellies phone back and smiled.

'Why?' Ellie asked.

'Because.' Chris got up as the door bell rang and got the food from the dasher. He made his way to the kitchen and took the food out of the bag and set it on the table. Ellie walked over and sat down.

'Okay, so. I'm so basic.' Ellie laughed softly. 'Tonkotsu ramen, takoyaki, and taiyaki for dessert.'

'These looks and smells amazing.' Chris sat down and started eating. The two talked about the upcoming game stream while they ate dinner. Once they were done, Chris showed her where her gaming set up was.
