Chris woke up at two in the afternoon and saw that Ellie wasn't beside him on the couch. He got up and walked to the bedroom only to find it empty. He grabbed is phone from the night stand and dialed Ellie's number. No answer.

'El, where are you? Please call me back.' Chris left a message. He took a shower and after that he made his way back to the living room and tidied up. Few hours passed and still no call from Ellie. At ten-thirty he heard the garage door open. He walked over to the garage door and saw Ellie and hugged her.

'Where have you been. I've been worried.' Chris said as he hugged her tight. Ellie didn't say anything and just pulled away and started making her way to the bedroom.

'El, I'm sorry about last night.' Chris said as he followed her. Ellie went straight to the closet and grabbed her luggage and opened it up on the bed.

'El, what are you doing?' Chris watched her as she took her clothes form the closet and neatly folded it and put inside the luggage. 'Please don't leave.' He begged.

Ellie stopped and looked up at him with tears in her eyes. 'I think we need a break from each other.' She finally said. Chris walked up to her and kissed her but she pulled away. 'Chris, no, please. You're making this harder for me.' She cried.

'Babe, please... don't leave. Please stay.' Chris begged as tears started to pool on his eyes.

'Last night... You said...' She took a deep breath, 'You told me to stop being clingy. I'm sorry if I'm clingy, I... I didn't know that.... I didn't know that I was being clingy... and... and...' Chris stopped her with a kiss as he held her tight in his arms. He held her arms when they pulled away from the kiss and he pushed the luggage off the bed and helped Ellie lay on the bed as he kissed her again. His lips made its way to her neck.

'Chris. Please.' She said as she sat up on the bed. 'Sex is not how it's going to end up every time you're upset or you've upset me. It's not always the answer to everything.' Ellie got up and picked up the clothes that fell out of the luggage, put it back in and zipped it up. She got up and said 'I'll come back when I've cooled off.' She walked over to him and kissed him. 'Goodbye Chris.' She went out of the bedroom with her luggage and off she left.

A a few days turned into a couple weeks. Chris grew impatient and drove to Elli's house at seven in the morning only to be met by Emika once again.

'What are you doing here?' Emika said as Chris approached the front door.

'Do you know where your sister is?' Chris asked.

'I don't know where she is, can you please leave.' Emika sounded irritated, remembering what happened a week ago.

'Emi-chan, who's at the do...' Ellie said but stopped as soon as he saw Chris.

'Elli...' Chris pushed through Emika and rushed to Ellie and hugged her.

'What are you doing here?' Ellie asked as she tried not to cry.

'Babe, please come home.' He whispered. Ellie pulled away and wiped the tears that betrayed her.

'I'm...' she got cut off.

'Not ready yet.' Chris finished her sentence. 'I know that but please give us a chance again. Please come home.' Chris begged then kissed Ellie.

Emika choked back tears as she walked past the two and up the stairs.

'I... I don't know, Christopher.' Ellie sighed.

Chris got down on his knees and begged her to come home with him.
