"no, no throwing up in the library."
belle's pov!
"i suppose blue is a nice color for me.", i commented slowly, looking at the mirror.
loki who was behind me, helping me tie the strings that dress together gave me a small hum, no doubt smugly grinning.
"are you admitting that my skills in fashion are amazing? you are flattering me, belle."
"i mean i look good, loki.", i teased with a sneaky smile.
"in this dress? yes you do."
"are you implying that if i was to wear sweats and a t-shirt i wouldn't look as good as now?"
"i like you in both ways. though a dress seems to make you look a part of royalty."
"now you're flattering me."
"no, i am actually helping you right now.", he said, as his hands brushed my back on accident from time to time.
it was tingly cold, and i'd be lying if that didn't make me flustered in a way.
fortunately, i'm such a talented actor at covering things up
"there you go."
he stepped back and watched me as i turned around.
"the blue's nice but are you sure the gold's not too much?"
"the gold is what brings out your eyes.", he commented.
i smiled softly, "what about your attire?"
"what about it?"
"are you going to be wearing the same golden green armor?", i asked, quivering my eyebrow up.
"yes.", he answered blandly, "i would have changed it if it was allowed, but it is tradition, darling."
"not even minor changes?"
"well from time to time, but it stays rather the same.", he shrugged before asking amused, "do you not like my armor?"
"i think it's nice. but i still don't know how you carry yourself with grace in such a heavy attire."
"you get used to it after centuries, it feels quite normal."
"i suppose it would be for you."
green glimmered over him and instead of the normal green and grey leather clothes he was wearing, he was in his full armor, with the horned helmet and all.
"show off.", i scoffed at him.
"always.", he grinned back.
"shall we?"
"we shall.", i answered back before everything went black.
as soon as my vision got back, i glared at the man standing there holding back a smirk.
"oh gosh, i think i need to throw up again.", i said, shuddering at the feeling of myself disintegrating.
"no, no throwing up in the library.", he said seriously.
"then don't teleport me without warning me beforehand!", i grumbled, straightening my spine and started observing my surroundings.
loki was right when he said beast's library had nothing on asgard's.
there were about hundreds of rows of bookshelves, all filled up with age-old books, scrolls, and grimoires filled with the knowledge of spells, history, literature, and even politics.
he laughed seeing the excitement behind my eyes barely caged anymore.
"might as well get started, hm lady belle?", he said looking at the shelves and back to me.
i gave him a small stare at the title he addressed me with, but smiled and let the love of books bless me once more. oh i'm never leaving this library.
