When popular girl Nini Salazar-Roberts finds out she's failing English and has to go to poetry club to raise her grade, she meets poetry nerd Ricky Bowen, who will change her life forever.
"Nina could you come here for a second" The English teacher asked . Nini walked up to the teachers desk, "Yes" she said. "Well it appears you are failing" She stated. "Wait how is that possible" Nini said.
"Your test scores are good, but you're creative writing scores are not" The teacher stated. "Well is there anything I can do for extra credit?" Nini wondered. " I suppose there is one option" the teacher said"
"Well what is it? she asked. "You could join the poetry club" The teacher proposed. "Well I guess if that's the only option, then I'll do it" Nini said slightly annoyed. "Great, looking forward to seeing you there"
