As Ricky walked through the door of Nini's house, he noticed her tear stained face.
"hey um- i know it's late and you were probably busy and i'm-" Nini sobbed but was cut off by the feeling of him closing the gap between them. She quickly melted in to his embrace as she sobbed into his hoodie.
"Nini, what's going on?" he worried. "Jake just broke up with me" she cried.
" h-he was upset about you and how we hang out a lot " she wept as they broke apart . " I swear I didn't want to cause a rift between you two" he insisted , he wanted to make sure that she knew that he never wanted to interfere with her relationships, even if he did have feelings for her.
"sometimes i feel like everyone i know is just destined to leave" Nini sighed. "Gina and Ej aren't speaking to me, Jake broke up with me, and my moms travel a lot" Nini wept
"Nini, i promise that's not gonna happen with me, i'm always gonna be here for you" he assured. Nini smiled as their gazes met
"it's almost 11:00 so I'm gonna go, unless you want me to stay" Ricky said
"Please stay"
