A/N: I know I said I don't like posting a bunch of chapters at once, but this chapter is pretty important so I had to get it out tonight. It also gives people time to see it before next chapter (basically just a continuation) ⚠️READ THE A/N AT THE END OF THE NEXT 2 CHAPTERS. THEY ARE IMPORTANT ⚠️

TW: Drug use
-Larry's pov-

Sal said he had to go to the bathroom. But he was acting different. Like not normal, well nothing in this town is normal but it's still weird. It's hard to tell what he's feeling with his mask though. If only he was easier to read.

"I'm back Lar" I turned around to see Sal staring back at me. "Great, let's go ahead and go to lunch." I said. Sal kept looking back at the bathrooms, it's like he was looking for something? "You alright Sal?" I started walking, Sal right beside me. "Um yeah. Just a bit confused about yesterday, you know, Travis' hand and all" that was weird? Sal usually gets over things like this. Especially since it's dealing with Travis. Come to think of it, Sal had been acting weird lately. Like he was fine during the summer but ever since we came to school. Y'know, Churchboy has been the same. But I don't know for how long he's been acting weird. I mean he's always been weird I guess.

I realized I had been silent for too long and said what came to mind first "Oh um yeah?" Why did I question it? Ugh nevermind.

-Timeskip-

Lunch is soo boring. It's not the same without ash or Todd. And for some fucking reason, chugg and maple are FLIRTING with eachother. Like what happened during the summer? Nevermind, I'd rather not bother them. "Hey Sal I'm going outside, I need to smoke." "Ok Larry." I would ask sal to come with me, but for some reason I want to be by myself for now.

I got up from my seat and made my way to the back entrance of the school so I could get to where I parked without being seen by a staff member. This school gets pretty boring when your alone. Like, it's hard to just walk around without anyone by your side. I hated being alone, but I wanted to be alone today, it was like a gut feeling. I opened the back entrance after making sure no one was watching. I quickly slipped out the doors and reached into my pocket for a cig and a lighter. I had the cigarette, but no lighter. Fuck! How could I be that stupid? I leaned back against the wall and sighed, I really needed a break right about now. I closed my eyes and scooted down the wall so I was now sat with my knees against my chest. I heard footsteps coming towards me so I opened my eyes. There was Mr. Churchboy staring right at me. "What do you want." I said, sounding quite aggravated. Travis reached into his pocket and pulled something out. He motioned for me to reach my hand out. I hesitated at first, but I was curious so I held my hand out to him. I watched as he put something into my hand and closed it. I opened my hand up and saw a green lighter. "Thanks I guess?" He sat down beside me in a very similar position. I pulled out the cig I had from before while also grabbing another one. I offered the second one to travis, not sure if he would actually take it. He seemed to hesitate but he took it. I lit mine up and was about to give the lighter back to Travis, but he shook his head. This confused me. But he pulled another lighter out of his pocket and lit his own.

The silence was awkward. I wanted to break it. But what do I even say? He could still be an ass. That's when I remembered something. "Hey Travis? What happened to your hand?" I looked at him when I spoke, hoping to catch any type of sign that would tell me. He widened his eyes before looking back at me so we were now making eye contact. Assumed he wouldn't answer so I just sighed, a bit of smoke blowing out of my mouth. "I didn't really expect an answer. After all, we do hate eachother." I broke the eye contact, I could still feel Travis' eyes on me but they eventually went away. I had to make some more conversation, I couldn't just sit here in silence. Plus, I wanna see if he's still an ass. "So Travis." I heard a small but forced 'hm' come from him, that must be all he can do at the moment. "Let's keep this smoke sesh to ourselves for now. After all it's out of character for us not to hate eachother." Honestly I don't know where everything I said came from. Maybe I'm just a natural at clearing the air. I looked over to Travis, he was already staring at me, it was another one of those weird eye contact things. Something pulled me towards him. Only a bit though. I stopped myself and stood up, reaching a hand out to Travis. "Let's go to my truck, I have some things that are better than just plain cigs." Travis grabbed my hand "Remember, this stays between us." Travis nodded his head.

My truck was pretty much a place you would not want the police to search through. I had some drugs and some other things just in case. I would never drive if I wasn't sober though. I wouldn't want to get myself killed.

Travis was in the passengers seat. His nose was scrunched up from the smell. I grabbed something from the car door and turned to him. "Ever gotten high before?"

A/N: OK SO LIKE I SAID, THIS IS A SLOW BURN. SO BE PREPARED FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. TRUST ME, IT GETS CRAZY
