With a struck of the Biwa from a particular demon, all of the Uppermoons appeared in front of a man with black hair, and blood red piercing eyes. As soon a the Uppermoons realized where they were and who they were in front of, they bowed.

The Uppermoons were in front of Kibutsuji Muzan, the demon king, and Tanjiro's father....

"I bet you are all wondering why you are here.." Muzan said.

"Yes master." Kokushibo, Uppermoon one, answered for all of the Uppermoons.

"My son has been taken by the demon slayers, and I want him back. Whoever is to find my son is to get a huge reward of my blood." The Uppermoons were shocked to find out that their master had a son, but were very determined with the last part of 'getting a huge reward'.

A flash of a memory was given to the Uppermoons. The memory they were given was a memory of Tanjiro. He was in a coffin, a red coffin, he had long burgundy hair, a mark on his forehead, and had a checkered haori with the colors of black and sea foam green, and a sword, Muzan in the memory said 'son'. They knew this person was their young master. 

With all this information, they were let free, with a new task.  

FIND TANJIRO......
