HUENING KAI

I finished writing mine, and place it in the bottle, but it's not really deep unlike everyone's here. Some campers experienced losing someone and getting their hearts broken, but me? I'm just lost because my family doesn't like the path that I'm pursuing.

"So, everyone's done. I see tears coming out of your eyes." Miss Yeji laughs with everyone.

"We haven't started it yet. So, the first to read. The one closest camper to me because she's been here for a very long time now. Shin Yuna," she smiled and gave a nice applause to her.

Yuna stood up, wiping her tears that came out while she was writing on her paper. She unfolds it, and started to read.

"My parents are... divorced," she chuckles right after.

"I think by now they already are because I've been staying here for a long time now, but they are going to do it. I told myself, if it's better for my parents, then sure. I don't want them to be together and hate it, but of course— I'm sorry." She giggled as she wiped her tears once more.

A guy wearing the same uniform as Hyunjin's went to Yuna, giving her a handkerchief. Yuna appreciated him. I thought he was going to leave her side, but he stood there. My eyebrows wrinkled because of what he did. I've never seen Yuna with this guy. Is he trying to get close to her?

He starts to rub her back to comfort her. Sus.

"Thank you Yuna." What? I didn't even notice that she finished reading her paper.

"What's wrong with you?" I heard Ryujin noona whispered.

"What?" I asked.

"You look like you're about to murder someone." I chuckled and shook my head.

CHAERYEONG

Next was Taehyun. My ears and mind were both alert. He stood up and only said two sentences.

"My friend died because of me. I am broken, and is still lost in the sea."

There was silence after he said that, but I'm not quiet inside at all. Questions came rushing in, and I started to feel bad for him. When he was about to sit down, I glanced at him. I didn't realize he was too, so our eyes met. Then, he mouthed. "Now you know," and he smiled.

"Chayeon-unnie," I whispered to my sister.

"Can I sit beside that boy?" I asked. She rubs my shoulders and said, "You feel bad for him, don't you?"

I rubbed my arms and gave her a faint smile. She nods and I stood up to sit beside Taehyun. He was looking at me while I was walking towards him. I don't kno why, but with every step that I took, my heart beats faster and faster.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"Are you okay?" I asked, obviously ignoring his question.

"No. No, I'm not."

I slid my hand to hold his arm, and I rested my head on his shoulder. He bowed his head down, and I heard his muffled sobs. How I wish that I knew it earlier. I could've made him feel better as a friend to him.

RYUJIN

I finished reading my piece of paper full of my ex's bullshit. It doesn't hurt anymore when I think about him. It was easier than I thought. I think I'm going to leave this island this weekend. My family would be so proud of me.

I sat down and noticed that Beomgyu was just nowhere in sight. He was here a moment ago.

No. This is not happening. I can't let him not read his story.

I walked up to Yeji and asked her if I could leave early. She allows me and I quickly got off the yacht. Barefoot, I ran to find Beomgyu.

It was pretty dark, so I couldn't just find him in an instant.

"Hey, what you lookin' for?" I turn around to see who it was. A stranger. Well, not completely. He's one of the staff members of the camp.

"A friend. I'm looking for a friend. Have you seen a boy with black hair and blonde highlights? He's a bit taller than you, have you seen him?" I asked.

He rolled his eyes and walks closer to me. This is not good. Seeing the red flag reveal right before me, I walked back slowly and said good night to the staff member, politely as I could.

"Your chest looks healthy," he whispered but I could clearly hear him.

I gritted my teeth and fisted my hand, to punch him, but the next thing I knew he fell on the ground. Beomgyu was there too, punching him non-stop.

Oh my gosh. Is he planning to kill him?!

"Beom—Beomgyu stop!" I shouted, trying to pull him away from the guy. He just wouldn't stop.

"Beomgyu!!" I shouted once more.

People started to got off from the yacht, including Yeji-ssi. She shouts the name of the staff member, and Beomgyu stopped. Literally. He just froze for a few seconds. He pushed the guy away, and stood up.

"What happened here?" Yeji-ssi asks me.

"H-He just told me something I-I didn't like," I stammered, still in shock to what Beomgyu did.

"Don't worry, Ryujin. This man will be kicked out first thing in the morning." She smiled at me, patting the staff member's shoulder.

The guy looked shocked and mad about what Yeji-ssi said, but he didn't utter a word. Maybe it's in their rulebook or something.

"Are you okay?" Beomgyu asked. His eyes were full of worries.

I scoffed and gave him a smile. I have to admit. What he did made me scared to talk to him, but I know it's not something he does often, so I'll treat him the same.

"Why didn't you share your story back there?" I asked.

"I don't want to," he said.

"Then... can you at least tell me?" I was hesitant to say those words, but I did anyway.

"Sure."
