BEOMGYU
Out of all the campers who talked to be and tried to get close to me, Ryujin's the one who always asks about my past. She just wouldn't stop. I was actually very sensitive to talk about the topic at first, but I eventually got used to her asking about it. I never tried to answer it, but I'm about to tell her the reason now.
We sat on the shore, and the awkward breeze came in right away. I cleared my throat as she fixes her shirt all of a sudden.
"Are you sure you're fine?" I asked her. She nodded with her eyebrows furrowed, telling me to not worry.
"So, what happened to you?" She asks.
"Well, if you got ghosted by your lover, then mine... became a literal ghost."
"Wait what?" She looked up at me, her eyes were filled with confusion.
"She died. Got hit by a truck while crossing the pedestrian lane. I was there. I saw her died. At the was at the other side. Her face was blooming with happiness as she walked towards me, but due to the bad weather and a bad driver. She got hit. Right before my eyes."
I couldn't even move my body after seeing her body laying down the floor, her head releasing tons of blood. I wanted to go to her, but my feet wouldn't move. My knees felt weak, and I ended up kneeling on the concrete I was standing on. The only time I had the strength was when the ambulance was taking her. I went with her.
I held her hands tightly. Praying to God that she should not die. Not now that we already have our future planned for us, but she passed away. I cursed everything right after that. I stopped going to my university, became a drunk. I even stopped playing the guitar because it reminded me so much of our memories together.
"Wow... Are you okay now?" She asked.
"Yeah. Thanks a lot to you and Yeonjun hyung, I guess. I would've died and rot in my cabin if you guys didn't force me to come out of that undeniably cozy house."
She giggled and nodded. "No problem, Beomgyu." She smiled at me, and I looked away.
"She must be hard to beat," she said all of a sudden.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I mean, I'm guessing she's your first love, and the first person to ever make you so happy. I'm pretty sure no girl can beat that," she said and laughed a bit.
"Yeah. No one can," I replied.
"But I'm really glad you're helping me recover," I said.
She placed her hands on her knees, and stood up. She looks down at me and reached out her hand. I held it, and we stayed like that for a few seconds. She heaved a sigh and smiled at me again.
I laughed and said, "Why do you look like you're saying goodbye?"

RYUJIN
I almost lost my balance when he asked me that question. I am saying good bye. Wasn't it obvious?? I stared at him for a while, and glanced down at our hands holding each other.
"You're not leaving yet a-aren't you?" He asked, his head tilted down.
"Psh. No! The food is too good here, for me to leave so early." I rolled my eyes, hitting his head lightly.
I heard a sigh of relief from him, and I was confused because of it. Does he really want me to stay that bad?
"There's an after party at Yeji-ssi's humongous cabin, want to go there?" I asked.
He shook his head, indicating a no. "Okay, I guess I'll leave you here." Right after I said that, he bolted up, and started to walk faster than me.
"Let's go. We don't want to be late at that party," he said, reaching for my hand.
I smiled and accepted it. My heart skipped a beat, making my eyes widen in shock.
No. No. NO.
