YEONJUN'S POV

My senior really pushed me to take a quick photoshoot when I arrived here. I must say she came off really irritating to me since she was only entertaining me and the freshmen boys, she straight up disregarded the girls waiting for her to guide them to their dorms.

But of course, I can't say no to a senior since I want to give a good impression as a freshman in college. Besides, it's an honor as someone new to the community, to become the model of the university. It will also help me find friends, hopefully they're as real as Soobin and the guys from the camp.

Speaking of the camp, I miss her.

I know it sounds so fucked up when I literally decided to break her heart by leaving her, but I'm pretty sure she understands. I hope she does. And, I hope she'll find someone better.

"Who's this?" I looked up as I was folding my clothes.

My dorm mate shows me my lockscreen. I smiled and looked down.

"Your girlfriend?" I shook my head in response.

I didn't respond. What was I going to say anyway?

"Hey, someone sent you a message." He throws me my phone, and took his phone.

"I'm heading out. My girlfriend and I decided to have a fun night." He winks, and I gave him a grimacing face.

He's sharing too much information, isn't he?

I checked the message he was talking about, and I almost lost my mind when I read it.

soobin: hey man, i'm at seoul right now. with yeji.

So, I replied right away. I never knew I could type faster than I normally can.

me: where exactly? since when? how? why?

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. Please tell me it's not my dorm mate with his girlfriend because I will fly away from this room if they are going to act all clingy here.

I twisted the door knob, and there, the oldest senior who is just living across my dorm room told me that someone is looking for me. I asked who it was, but he just shrugged his shoulders. He doesn't really talk much.

Then, his friend, who is way shorter than him came running in the hallway with a grin on his face. He was also looking at me, which I found creepy.

"Yeonjun-ah! An expensive looking girl with short hair is looking for you!" He said with full of excitement.

Girl? Expensive? As far as I know, the only rich people that I've met are the ones from camp, and the only girl with short hair there is Ryujin.

With that in mind, I say, "I don't know any girl that meets your description."

He rolls his eyes, and told me he's commanding me to go to her because it might actually be a great chance for me when it comes love. I faked a smile after hearing what he said.

I sighed and decided to go down anyway. It might actually be someone who's genuinely interested in me, or she could be someone who needs my help, or it could be both.

I slipped my hands on my pockets, and as I was approaching the glass front door, I saw the girl they were talking about. She was facing the other way, so I couldn't really see her face.

I pushed the glass door, and the midnight breeze welcomes me. As I was slowly approaching her, my heart starts to pound fast. Weird. She seems so familiar to me. This whole aura she has, it makes me nervous yet excited at the same time.

I stopped behind her, and I spoke. "Excuse me, miss? My seniors said you were looking for me."

She turns, and her hair moves with her. She looked shocked, and I was too. Our eyes met, and it locked. I never knew how I much missed her, until today. I wanted to pull her close to me. I wanted to tell her I'm sorry. I wanted her to not leave. I wanted for this night to be longer than usual. I wanted to be with her.

"Yeji. You're here." In short hair. I wonder what made her do such a thing.

"Yeah. I'm here, and I doubted that you would show up," she said with a quick smile.

"I thought the person waiting for me needed me. So, I'm here, and it's you I'm seeing."

"The person waiting for you does need you," she replies.

"Who?" I asked. I knew the answer of course, I'm not dumb. I just wanted to make sure I'm assuming the right things.

"Me?" She scoffs, and started walking away.

"Where are you going?" "To one of the benches? Standing in these high heels for ten minutes isn't really the best idea I've come up."

I laughed at what she said. Anything for elegance, I guess. She sat with a sigh on the bench, and I stood before her. I looked at her, and she seemed exhausted.

I wanted to ask her if she was okay, but the answer to too vivid. Of course she's not fine, dummy. I don't see any signs of a vehicle around, so she most probably used the last bus to get here.

"How will you get home?" I asked. She looked at me with disbelief.

"I just got here, and you're asking me that question. Gosh, I don't even know why I like you." She brushes her hair, and it came with the quick but harsh thump of my heart.

"Then, why are you here?"

"You won't stop bothering my mind, so I'm here to see you," she answered. Again, my heart skipped a beat.

"Is Miss YJ confessing her love for me?" I ask as I lean down to meet her eyes. She bravely stares back at me, but then her pupils quiver a bit, and looks away with her answer.

"Yes. Do you love me as much as I do?" She asked. Well, I am not ready for the swift clap back.

"I think I love you more than that. The only thing that kept me from saying that is your own rule." I flashed her a grin, and she smiled because of it.

"I made that rule for a reason, but I realized. If following that stupid rule to protect my heart means losing you. I'd rather break it. But, it's still a rule in my camp. I won't change it."

"So, you're saying, you're exempted from that rule because you're outside the camp?" She nods confidently to my question.

She sighs and ties her hair halfway up. She looks up at me, and she's stunning as always. The way her cat-like eyes stare back at me, it's just one of the things that I love about her. Her smile. Her confidence. Her soft personality. Her.

"What now? Are we dating or not?" She asks.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking that question since I'm the guy?"

"That's crap. A girl can also ask those things if she wants to. So?"

"We're dating now of course, Hwang Yeji. But tonight is not our first date, I'll take you home first." She agrees, and for the first time, as a boyfriend, I asked for her hand.

Our hands locked, and as we walked, we're smiling like idiots walking in the streets under the midnight summer sky full of stars.
