Blue and red lights flashed, and sirens wailed across the landscape as police forces from all around the Mushroom Kingdom flocked towards the prison. Prisoners were on the loose, and a group of friends helped the only female prisoner: Meggy Spletzer, to escape and compete in a competition of her dreams.
Mario held Meggy by the hand as he guided her through tall grass and towards the same spot where Trident had parked the getaway car, but only this time, it was no longer there.

Mario: What the!? Shit! Where is it!?

Meggy: Where is what?

Mario: The Koenigsegg!

Meggy: What the hell is a Koenigsegg!?

Mario: A really, really fast car! Trident stole one for us!

Meggy: He did what!?

Mario: Come on! We need to find it!

Mario pulled Meggy along as they continued, searching desperately for the car. Mario then felt a buzz from his side. It was his radio. He turned it down just so they could barely hear it and stopped.

Trident: *faintly* The car is in the garage. Three hundred yards west of where you originally got out. Make it there safe.

Mario: The garage...The garage! Let's go!

Mario and Meggy turned in the direction towards a garage and when they reached it, police lights were everywhere. They were lucky they weren't spotted, but once they were in the car, they would surely be spotted.

Mario: Okay...now if I were million dollar supercar, where would I be?

Meggy starts to lift a tarp, revealing a silver body.

Meggy: Is this it?

Mario: Oh. Duh...silly me.

Meggy: Get in.

Mario flipped off the tarp completely, revealing the car in its full glory. The paint shone brightly from the lights in the room and it almost seemed to sparkle around the edges as light danced off its sleek surface.

Meggy: So...that's a Koenigsegg...

Mario: Yep. Take the passenger seat. I'm time to go.

Mario opens the butterfly door and sits in the driver seat. He comes to face directly, a set of controls, buttons, and switches he didn't recognize in a normal car.

Mario: What the hell? What is all this?

Meggy: Woah...Techy.

Mario: Indeed...now do you start this thing?

Meggy reaches over and presses a button labeled "engine start" and the car roared to life.

Meggy: Found it.

Mario: Oh. Silly me. I'm not used to modern cars yet.

Meggy: You just need to learn them. I think they are really easy to drive. Especially the European ones.

Mario: You know your cars. That's sexy.

Meggy: More drive. Less talk.

Mario grabbed hold of the shifter and gave the car a little gas to warm it up. The tachometer danced from 1000 to 4000 back and forth a couple times until he pulled it into drive and the car shot forward. The garage was over a hundred feet long, but that hundred feet was nothing and Mario shielded himself as the car slammed through the garage door, sending pieces of wood, brackets, and bolts all over the place. Blue and red lights filled the car and Mario looked around as he regained his bearings.
