Sorry for the Inferno Narratives Ad! Just sneaking it in here!

Trident: Hey! INFERNOTrident here. I just wanted to say that I would like just two...Eh...maybe a few more than that. Probably more like 8 minutes of your time to be honest. You can skip this part if you're not interested, but bear with me. You'll probably enjoy this. There are some pretty cool things here if you stay.

Welcome to Inferno Narratives: Wildfires of Imagination.
A world of creativity and scenarios that can catch just about anyone's eyes. I work with three other fantastic people and we call ourselves the Inferno Narratives Team. We write many stories about all sorts of topics and many still yet to come! Currently, we have three series' on the plate. The first, and biggest one, is Quantum.

Quantum-7: Please remain seated as launch is in progress. Next stop, Quantum Station.

Everyone: Woo!

It is our largest and most attention-grabbing part of our stories! It's filled with emotion, drama, action, horror, and more! A bonus: It's the starting books to our biggest series we've ever teamed up to make! View some amazing clips from the stories! Personally, these are some of my favorite scenes!

(There's a lot more, but I don't want to use up your time for something that's nothing related to the current story. If you'd like to check it out, go right ahead!)

Quantum 2: Lost In Space
Chapter 7: Captain's Ruin

???: Let me tell you something, Megan. What goes undone, can't be done unless there is a...punishment.

Meggy was now letting light tears come out of the corners of her eyes. It was too difficult to stare down the loaded barrel of her own revolver. So she could only dart her eyes around from the creature, to Mario, and back again. Fears of letting that trigger get pulled consumed her as she thought of what could happen if she died right there.

Mario: Please! Stop it!

???: I will not stop at anything until I know that you and your little friend's lives are done! I will not fail my Lord Traviere!

Meggy feels her finger tightening on the trigger and Mario watches as the trigger is completely pressed in with a single motion.

The gun ended up not even firing, catching even the creature by surprise.

???: ...What?!

Meggy opened her eyes to see that the gun was still aimed at herself, but the gun had not fired. Was the magazine empty?

*click*

She closed her eyes quickly and turned her head away at the sound of another click and whimpered a bit to herself.

*click*

Mario was begging to himself that the magazine was empty.

Meggy was now whimpering out loud and Mario was relieved to see the magazine was empty. E. Gadd seemed to let out a sigh of relief and the creature seemed to stop thinking about killing Meggy and she regained control over her arms. She let the gun fall to her side as she still clutched the gun loosely in her hands. She clearly looked as if she was about to fall over and the creature did a waving motion and the gun itself glowed a green color and immediately, Meggy was overcome by the power again and a bullet ripped through the air. Her eyes widened, not because the bullet had ripped through Mario or herself, but through E. Gadd's chest. He let out a cough before stumbling backwards and leaned against a wall and slid down it until he was sitting on the ground.
