Chapter 4: The Nightmare and Family
She was outside of her family's house in Godric's Hollow. She was 22 in this dream. 'This isn't my house.' She thought. 'This placed is demolished.' She decided to walk around the yard to see if she could find a ceramic unicorn she had painted for her mother when she was little. She didn't find it. Her mother wanted be barried with it when she died. 'Oh no, doesn't James get the house when our parents died... wait, then that means...' She started crying unknowingly and walked towards the door to the house. She carefully put her hand on the handle and turned the knob. She shut her eyes tightly so she wouldn't be able to see the destruction. "Please don't be James and Maggie, please don't be James and Maggie." She kept whispering to herself. She stepped inside to find a body lying on the ground. She stepped towards the body, looking for features she might recognize. Then she saw it...James glasses. She dropped to the ground next to him and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed! She decided to go find Maggie. She slowly walked up the stairs and to the baby's bedroom knowing Maggie would be there with Harry. She once again walked into the room to find Harry in his crib crying and Maggie on the floor...dead. She couldn't cry anymore. She just picked up Harry and cradled him in her arms until he stopped crying. "It's gonna be alright, Harry." She said over and over, even though she knew it wasn't. Her knees not being able to still hold her up she dropped to the ground once again, this time screaming. "What did James and Maggie ever do to deserve this!" Then everything went black.
"James, she is mumbling about you, Maggie and someone named Harry. We have to wake her up!" Remus all but shouted.
"Okay, okay let's wake her up. I know what wakes her up." James replied. "Abbe, honey you have wake up. Mum and dad are worried about you. They need to know your okay." James said while brushing his hand through her hair. Finally he kissed her forehead and her eyes shot open.
"James, where are you... Am I dead?" She asked tears streaming down her face.
"Abbe, it's ok remember your just temporarily blind." James replied.
"Oh yeah... I am just glad your alright. In my dream I walked into your house and found you and Maggie dead...and your son all alone. His name is Harry I think." She finished as she hugged her twin tightly.
"Well, I am not dead and everything is gonna be alright. " James said just as there mum and dad burst into the common room, panting.
"Who's there?" Abbe said turning around looking straight at her parents, wand in hand.
"What do you mean, don't you remember us?" Her mum said sadly.
"Mum?" Abbe questioned. "James could you walk me over to mum and dad?" She whispered just to James.
"Sure, Blossom" James said as he grasped her hand and walked her over to their parents. They soon stopped in front of their mother and Abbe threw her arms around her cried.
"Abbe, what's the matter?" Harold (their father)said to her.
"Dad, I can't see! All I see is darkness! I'm blind!" She shouted. "I am so sorry I didn't know who you were! I just couldn't see you."
"How did this happen?" Her mum asked.
"Well, it was at quidditch tryouts and I was trying to grab the snitch and I crashed into the stands and got a concussion...please don't be mad at me!"
"Why would we be mad at you?"
"Well now that you say it I don't know why." Abbe said.
