Potions Accident

Chapter 7: Potions Accident

         It was now Monday January 15, 1979 and the group of four was heading down to potions with Hufflepuffs. The pranks had gone well. A girl from Ravenclaw was stuck in a very 'stinky' situation for about a week and was an ugly shade of green from the bath water. For Christmas Abbe had gotten several things from the boys including candy from Sirius, a charm bracelet with all her favorite things on it from Remus and from James a special ring that would keep her safe when she needed help. For the boys she got each of them candy, and special. The special things were a potion to help Remus with his Furry Little Problem, James a necklace with her name and his name on it and for Sirius a pair of dragon hide Quidditch gloves. They were all extremely happy with their presents. 

             They walked up to the door and opened it slowly as if to see a dragon on the other side. The whole class was sitting there, waiting for them to enter. Since, class hadn't began yet they were still ok. They took their seats in the back while Professor Jones told the class about the potion they would be brewing today, it was a time travel potion. Allowing the drinker to go anywhere in time for one hour and one hour only. The got together with their partners (Abbe and Remus, Sirius and Mya, James and Maggie). While putting in the last of crickets Abbe was hit by a Hufflepuff and fell into the cauldron of the finished potion and disappeared. "Professor, Abbe just disappeared! I don't know where in time she went." Remus yelled. Professor Jones ran over to their table. He said a spell that none of them made out. "Well, we can see when she was sent and where she was sent." The professor said. "It looks like she was sent to 1994 to Professor Lupin's classroom." He stated. "Merlin, I am a teacher. That's fantastic! Wait, when will she come back?" Remus asked

"Well, she'll probably be back in about one hour, nothing major. However, I would like You five" he said pointing to James, Remus, Sirius, Mya and Maggie. "can go into the DADA room and tell Hutchinson about your predicament. You should stay there and she will appear there when the potion has ceased it's effects." the five quickly got their things and ran to Professor Hutchinson's room.

Meanwhile in 1994

"Now, can anyone tell me what this is here in the wardrobe?" Professor Lupin questioned. He was about to call on a person named Hermione Granger, when he heard a thud in the back of the classroom. All the students turned around to see a beautiful girl with shoulder length curly blonde hari with bright blue eyes. She was wearing Gryffindor robes and he instantly knew who it was. "Abbe!" he whispered excitedly. The young lady looked up. "Remus!" she whispered back. The students made a path for them to get to one another. They ran to each other and hugged. "I am so sorry I left you." Abbe whispered. "You must have been so upset."

"Hey, don't worry about it." He replied

"So, where is the older me?" she asked nervously.

"Well, you are at home with Brooke and Sirius." 

"Twins?" she said. He nodded and they broke apart. "Now, this young lady here is from the past, she is this time period is my wife, I would like you all to watch as she demonstrates he boggart for the rest of you." he said to the class. 

"Well, I guess I could demonstrate my boggart for you all. I don't even know what it is!" She said quietly. 

"Excellent. Now, step up Abbe and do what you know best." She giggled at the last part. She stepped up to the boggart afraid of what might come out of it. She clenched her eyes shut not wanting to see a dementor coming out of the wardrobe. She heard the door open and heard several footsteps, of not just one person but 3. She opened her eyes to see James, Remus and Sirius standing before her. "James, oh how I missed you!" she said loudlyas she jumped up to hug them all. 

"Well, I am glad you left. I could finally concentrate on things other than your ugly face." James said with a smirk gesturing to her face.

"How did you think I could love you, of all people, you are just a filthy little mudblood." Remus said sneering.

"What?" Abbe looked confused.

"Aww look the Know-it-all doesn't know what were talking about. I would never be your best friend. Why would you think that, your friends with Snivellus, I couldn't be friends with someone who liked him." Sirius said. 

"But, James your my twin-" she was going to finish but was cut off. 

"Nope, your adopted, Mum lied to you your whole life. You're just a filthy little mudblood now aren't you?" James taunted. They three of them started laughing. She fell to the ground sobbing. She saw someone step in front of her and yelled "Ridikulus!" it was a feminine voice. She looked to find Hermione Granger standing in front of her tears also in her eyes. Hermione dropped down next to Abbe and hugged her. Everyone else stood there with shocked looks on their faces. "People say the same things to me, Abbe, Are you going to be okay?" Hermnione said sniffling.

"Yeah, do you know where Severus is?" Abbe asked standing up looking at Remus. "I want to go see him before I leave." 

"He's in the Dungeons, he doesn't have a class right now, so you can go." a boy named Draco Malfoy yelled to her.

"Thanks!" she yelled back over her shoulder while running out the door to the Dungeons.

"Severus!" Abbe yelled when she got to the dungeons. Severus had heard someone call his name so he stepped out of his room and looked down the corridor to find a young lady standing there with tears running down her face. She ran to him hugging him tight, sobbing into his chest for a good twenty minutes. "Abbe, why are you here?" he asked.

" Well, in our last year at Hogwarts I was brewing a time potion and well hear I am." She laughed at the last part.

"Well, I guess that makes sense, sort of." He said with a smile. "Now, why are you crying?" He asked. 

"My boggart..." she said quietly "Severus, what time is it?" she inquired.

"About 11 o clock." he said. "Why?" 

"Bloody Hell, I have to go see Remus before I leave and I will leave in about 5 minutes!" She quickly left go of him and kissing him on the cheek, he did the same. "Well, time to go...I guess I'll see you later." she said running back to the DADA room. "Yeah, see ya." Severus said to himself.

Two minutes later Abbe found herself in Remus's arms waiting to go back home. Abbe looked at her hand and only half of it was there. "Remus, I am disappearing, I want you to know that I Love you." 

"I love you too." he said before he kissed her cheek and finally she disappeared.
