Chapter 9: Their Birthday
A/N: I Know that these songs had not been made until much later, but I felt these songs made sense. These are my favorite songs ever. The song in this is If This Was A Movie By Taylor Swift
It was now Saturday and Abbe and James were out on the Quidditch pitch practicing from their next game in early March. Sirius, Remus, Maggie, Kristen and Mya were currently making the common room all pretty for the twins' birthday. Mya and Sirius being the tallest were putting up Pink and blue streamers up around the room. Remus was busy with setting up a stage for the karaoke. He had planned a special song for Abbe. It was one of her favorite songs. Kristen and Maggie were busy blowing up balloons without their wands. They were having a lot of trouble, so far there wer at least 20 with holes and 35 that were blown up.
"Let's just use our wands." Maggie exclaimed pulling out her 10 and a half inch, willow wand with a manticore hair core. With a flick of her wand all the streamers were up and the balloons were filled with air.
"Now, somebody go to the balcony and get them to come to the common room." Maggie said talking to everyone but, looking at Remus. He started towards the steps to the balcony and took one step up. he was anxious for the party to start, so he started running up the stairs to the balcony.

Abbe and James had just mounted their brooms and were ready to the throw the snitch up. This snitch they had gotten from Remus and Sirius before they had left. They both started slowly hovering above the ground and James threw the snitch upwards. "Ready Abbe?" He yelled to her. She nodded her head with anticipation. The snitch took of in the direction of the hoops and off they went. They kept flying faster and faster until they were both neck in neck. With both of their arms stretched out they were so close to catching the snitch. The snitch suddenly moved towards the Gryffindor common room. The Twins looked at each other surprised.
"Did you expect it to do that?" Abbe asked James loudly over the roaring wind. He shook his head quickly. They looked towards the balcony to see Remus standing there. "He probably wants something." Abbe said as she zoomed towards the balcony. James shook his head and laughed as he flew off after her.
"Hello Darling, James." Remus greeted them both. He kissed Abbe on the lips and lingered there until he heard a cough coming from James's direction. They split apart immediately, both blushing and glaring at James.
"Why don't you guys put your brooms on the balcony and we could go to the great hall for some dinner. Abbe, why don't you put on one of your dresses you bought. They make you look beautiful."
"Okie dokie." Abbe replied. She climbed off the broom and on the balcony. James was the more klutzy one, he was just wanted to get to their birthday party. He got off his broom so fast he almost fell. They all headed their seperate ways to get ready to go to 'dinner'.
The group had now met at the top of the stairs to go. Abbe was wearing a dress that she had worn several times before on many occasions. She had worn this certain dress to the yule ball in their fifth year when she had become friends with Snape. "Ready?" Remus said offering his arm to her. She smiled and nodded. Holding the inside of his elbow she walked down the stairs. She smiled at the scene she saw before her. There were streamer and balloons everywhere. Yep, this was her birthday party. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Everyone in the room yelled, Sirius being the loudest. She smiled at Sirius and ran over towards him and wrapped her arms around him. "Thank you so much Sirius. I love you Padfoot."
"I love you too Blossom," he said as he pulled back "Now how 'bout we get the karaoke started." Abbe nodded vigorously and jumped up onto the stage.
