Chapter 8: Back In Her Own Time

          She felt herself fall to the ground of the room, unaware of her friends and Professor's presence.

All she did was lay there. She heard footsteps coming towards though she did not move. "Give her space!" She heard Professor Hutchinson yell to other people, she assumed were Remus, James, Sirius, Mya and Maggie. Kristen was in Charms with Ravenclaws. He knelt down next to her head and whispered in her ear. "Miss. Potter, if you don't get up right now, I will beat you with a stick." The professor said. He always said that but she was still frightened. She sat up quickly unaware of his head right above hers. She hit his head and they both fell back with a loud "OW!"

"Yeah, that went better in my head." Professor Hutchinson said laughing. They all started laughing except Abbe. She sat there frozen, staring at James, Remus and Sirius, with fear written on her face. Sirius approached her cautiously.

"Blossom, are you okay?" He asked quietly. She jumped at the sound of his voice and scooted away from him. "What's wrong?" He asked her and dropped to the ground next to her, trying to touch her arm. She jumped away and ran behind her Head of House. He,along with the others, were very confused. Hutchinson turned around and gripped her arms tightly and forced her to look at the boys. She did not want to see them. She was sure they were going to tell her that she is a mudblood and that's she's adopted. She closed her eyes tightly, willing her tears not to fall. She heard footsteps coming towards her and then arms surrounding her. she tried to move away but she couldn't. She opened her eyes to find James hugging her...tightly. She ripped herself out of James's arms and ran out of the room and to the Room Of Requirement.

         She heard footsteps behind her, but that only made her run faster. She got to the seventh floor and ran towards the wall. The door had not appeared, for she did not NEED the room, she just wanted it. She fell to the ground crying. The footsteps came even faster. She supposed they had the map with them just in case. Someone came right up behind her and hugged her she could tell it was James, because of how strong his arms felt. She started screaming. 

"Why don't you just call me a Mudblood and get it over with. Just tell me I am adopted!" She screamed trying to get out of James's arms and into someone else's. She did the best she could, but it wasn't good enough. She just sat there in his arms yelling at him to let her go. "My boggart told me I was adopted, I demonstrated it for your son. He looked terrified that I would be afraid of you!" She screamed at James. 

"Wait, did you just say your boggart?" Sirius questioned. She nodded her head slowly, as realization hit she slumped back down into James's arms and sobbed as she whispered 'I am so sorry.' Over and over. She looked around to see Maggie and Mya weren't there and neither was her professor. Remus and Sirius walked over the twins and hugged them tightly. Abbe's sobs subsided and she stood up, her eyes red and puffy. "I just want to go back to the common room and sleep."she said yawning. Remus then picked her up and started walking to the common room with Abbe snuggled to his chest.

"Well, are you guys coming or not?" Remus called back to the two friends.

"Nah, we are gonna go back to class, we'll tell the professors where you guys are." Sirius said smiling. Then he and James started walking towards the charms corridor. Remus smiled at Abbe and she smiled back. He let her stand up and took her hand in his. They walked to the Gryffindor Common hand in hand, with no words being spoken. Remus told the fat lady the password and they walked inside slowly. No one was in the Common room since it was a school day. They stood right inside the portrait hole staring at each other intently. All of a sudden, they gathered each other in one another's arms. There were no tears on their faces. they slowly walked over to the couch and laid down still holding each other. Finally after a few moments silence Remus spoke. 

 "Let's get some sleep." They slowly drifted off into a deep sleep holding each other tightly.

     James and Sirius were just heading back to the Common room after a long day of classes and it didn't help that they had just gotten 30 points from Gryffindor for pranking Malfoy. But, boy was it funny. "Hey, mate, you know your birthday is in a week, I was thinking maybe we can have a a party this weekend if you want." Sirius said to James.

"I am sure Abbe would appericate it if we had some karaoke, so you, Remus, Mya, Kristen and Maggie better make that number one on your list. Abbe and I will play some quidditch while you guys set it up tomorrow." They had just got to the common room and whispered the password. They walked in to find Remus and Abbe lying on the couch sleeping in each other arms I might add. Sirius was smiling at the seen unfolding in front of him. James on the other hand was fuming. Sirius had to hold him back to have him refrain from waking the couple. "Just let them sleep." Sirius whispered to James. James visibly tensed when he realized that he wasn't the only one who loved Abbe. James marched up the stairs to the boys dorms with Sirius close behind.
