The Lake

Chapter 6:The Lake

            They were running as fast as they could, hearing James and Sirius yelling their names. They skidded to a stop so James and Sirius could catch up. When Sirius and James saw this they tried to stop their legs but they couldn't! They ran right into Abbe and Remus. The group went tumbling down the hill laughing as loud as they could. However since all of this was happening no one seemed to notice until they were almost in the lake! "Guys!" Abbe yelled frantically. "What!?" They all yelled back. 

"We are going to fall into the lake if we don't stop!" Abbe yelled back. "I have got my wand. Impedimenta!" They started to move slower. "Now, try and get a grip on the grass so we can stop." Remus said just loud enough so they could hear. They gripped the grass as hard as they could. Everybody but one person was still holding on. Sirius had not listen and just kept rolling, unaware that the water was ice cold. Abbe grabbed her wand again and yelled 'Impedimenta' hopefully for the last time today. He started to slow down! "Stupefy!" He froze in his tracks, two feet away from the edge of the lake. "Morbilicorpus!" James said lifting his best mate off the ground and up the hill to sit down. They got successfully up the hill with nobody slipping or falling into the water. The sat down with greatest ease even though they were all kind of sore. 

"Ok, I know I am head girl and James is Head boy, but why don't you say we pull a prank on the Prefects. The worst that can happen is a detention. Nothing major, just little things, like putting tacks on the toilet seats, turning the water a different color that will stay on their body for a week, etc." Abbe stated. 

"I think that is a brilliant idea." Sirius said.

"We are gonna need to write this stuff down." Remus said with a smile. 

"Great, we are all on the same page." James said conjuring a quill, ink and parchment. He started writing down ideas that everyone was saying."When we were in America I got some of these popper things that explode when you throw them...we could put the under the toilet seats! Their list soon had four things that they were going to do it said:

Operation Prank Prefects

Take place: Day before Christmas break

1: Put clear nail polish on the soap so they won't be able to use it and will be very slippery. (Abbe)

2: Jello in the sinks (Sirius)

3: Popper things (James)

4: Change the color of the water in the bath. (Remus)

"Alright, guys seems like a good plan." Remus said when they were done.
