Chapter Two: Qudditch Tryouts

         James awoke in the morning to the sun shining through the window. He looked to his right to find Abbe laying there looking so peaceful, with her cat, Jynx, laying on her stomach. He yawned and kissed the top of her head, glad that she was still alive. "Blossom, time to wake up." He whispered in her ear. That hadn't seemed to work. So he tried something else. "Abbe! There are Death Eaters in the house!" With she woke up and jumped out of bed trying to find her wand, which was by the way a thirteen inch willow with a unicorn hair core, as the cat jumped of her and ran to the common room. She looked over to James who was grinning and laughing like an idiot. "James, that was not funny!" She yelled with tears coming into her eyes. "I thought you were going to die. You know how much I love you, why would you scare me like that?" Tears were now streaming down her face. Remus had woken up and found Abbe yelling and crying looking at James. He ran up to her and hugged her tight. "Abbe, sweetheart, what's the matter?" He whispered in her ear.              "Just James being a prick like he is sometimes. You are lucky Maggie hasn't broken up with you yet!" she said while wiping tears from her eyes while chuckling. Remus had yet to let go of her. "Aren't there quidditch try outs today?" she said hopefully looking up at Remus. "Yup!" Sirius said now slightly more awake than before. He was awake during her fight, but didn't want to deal with her in the morning.  She was always crabby before breakfast. Abbe had been so excited to tryout for quidditch this year. She was the seeker every time they played quidditch and finally she had enough courage to try out and was able to play.           The try outs were at ten this morning, so Remus, Abbe, James, Sirius, Mya, Kristen and Maggie all headed down to the great hall for some breakfast once they got dressed of course. When the sat down at the Gryffindor table, they sat how they normally do. Remus sat next to Abbe. Next to them was Sirius. Sirius was sitting across from Mya, staring at her in a loving way. Next to her was James holding Maggie's hand under the table just like Remus and Abbe. Maggie was also a seventh year Gryffindor. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes and she wasn't the smartest, though they loved her anyways. She was just James's type. "Maggie, how do you put up with James? He scared me half to death this morning and made me cry!"

"Yeah, we know, we heard you. We were in the common room all night." Maggie then kicked James under the table. With a short 'ow' from James they all started laughing at what she had done, not caring that Abbe's question was going unanswered.          Breakfast flew by quicker than they thought and it was time for Quidditch try outs. Maggie, Kristen and Mya came down to the pitch with them just to watch. They weren't big quidditch fans. The Marauders headed to the locker rooms to change into the necessary clothing. They finished changing and grabbed their brooms from the Falcons a.k.a Kristen, Mya and Maggie. Little did The Marauders know, they were all animagi and they turned into different birds. Maggie transforms into a Flamingo, Mya a snowy owl and finally Kristen a dove. Anyways, the tryouts had just begun. Abbe mounted her SnitchBreaker 2000 and was ready for the seeker tryouts, but not before she a good luck kiss from Remus. Since only one seeker is allowed per team and there was only two people trying out there was pretty good chance that Abbe was going to be the seeker. Professor Hutchinson, who taught Defense Against The Dark Arts and Head of Gryffindor house, had let go of the snitch and it went flying into the air. Both Abbe and some Gryffindor dude flew high into the sky and looked for a little golden ball.           After quite sometime, Luke Hamiester, the other potential seeker spotted the snitch over by where her friends were sitting. She also spotted it an flew as fast as she could towards it, with her arm stretched out, not realizing Mya was sitting right there. Luke stopped when he saw that something was moving towards him. He couldn't see what it was. 'Probably just a bird or something' he thought and started back to the snitch. Abbe had caught the snitch when she crashed into something, blacking out,and heard a yell from Remus and Sirius. Both yelling "NO!!
