Late September 2002

Happy Lowman walked through the doors of the Tacoma clubhouse, annoyed as ever. He looked for Tacoma's Sergeant At Arms. His best friend but one man that knew how to party and distract Happy from thinking about outside issues. Happy easily spotted Kozik at the bar and he walked approached him, hitting the bar to signal the croweater to get him a drink and grabbing Kozik's attention.
"Hey brotha, what are you doing here? Thought SAMCRO had you on babysitting duty." Kozik loved to aggravate the Enforcer about his new task. Babysitting was essentially what he was doing but the last two nights, he was doing more than just babysitting. He definitely getting to really know Hanna Winston.
"Needed to get away from the city for a bit. What's going on here?" With Happy being in San Francisco all the time, he was out of the loop on the club problems. It was like he was cut off from the world.
Kozik looked around the clubhouse and shrugged his shoulders. "Most everyone is on that run to Arizona. SAMCRO is runnin' with them. What's going on with you? How is the fine ass princess?
Happy took a swig of the fresh beer he was just handed and looked at Kozik. "Nothing much, just playing Mr. Rogers. The fine ass princess is a pain in my ass. One minute she's on track, just going to school and the next, she's at some party that I almost have to save her from."
Kozik scoffed and shoved Happy. "You talk to her? I'd be all over her if it was me. That girl is just perfect." He shook his head. "Don't complain, you're lucky as fuck man."
"Nah. I don't have the time for her little ass." Happy shook his head as he started to walk off. The distraction wasn't working.
Kozik smirked, knowing good and well something was different in the air around his best friend. "If you don't then you won't mind if I get at her." He watched Happy stop dead in his tracks and turned around, making Kozik shrug his shoulders. "I'm just saying. Maybe I'll go back down there with you and hook something up."
Looking at the Sergeant-At-Arms, he noticed the smug grin on his face. Happy knew he couldn't feed into this bullshit, "Can't stop ya." Happy walked out of the clubhouse and headed straight for the roof.

Hanna Winston laid on the sofa, flipping through the television channels and groaned. Nothing was on and all her things were technically still at Jax's house. She knew she needed to go get them soon but that was a task for a different time. The home was relatively clean but there was nothing was beer and water in the house. She was started to wonder how the man survived.
She got up and made her way in the kitchen, grabbing a pen and pad to start making a grocery list as she checked the kitchen over for not only food but supplies, utensils. She was going to stock the home to full capacity. But she was nice, considerate so she pulled her phone out of her back pocket, dialing Happy's number. She figured he'd be in the middle of whatever he kept himself busy with. Or asleep. It was a little after nine and it was his second day there.
A groggy but raspy voice came through the speaker. "You dying?"
She smirked to herself. "No, luckily. I was calling to see if you had any particular requests from the grocery store. I'm going to stock the kitchen seeing as there is nothing here."
"I guess just grab the usual ingredients for those shakes, you want to get back into a good work out plan?" Happy sat up in his bed and looked around the room. He saw high heels, a dress, all the things he did not need to see. Especially seeing as he was supposed to be committing back into a relationship.
