"Is it possible for you to get along with any of the men you're sleeping with?" Donna asked her sister-in-law in a joking manner.Hanna looked up from her plate and smiled. "Nope, gotta pick a fight with every single one of 'em. To be fair here, I am not just sleeping with him and I wasn't just sleeping with the last boyfriend either. We were actually in committed relationships. Or so I thought. I'm getting along fine with Happy right now."
"You do seem different now. You seem happier, like I haven't seen you like this before. Ever." Donna shook her head. "It's nice, is that what college was like for you? You over there just basking in angry biker love?"
Hanna adjusted herself in her seat and shrugged her shoulders. "Angry biker love. He's not actually an angry person, ya know? He's actually pretty happy, for lack of a better description. He makes me happy, Donna. I was destroyed when I left school and he did what he did. I for sure thought that would go differently. But he told me to go home to Charming and be with Jax." She rolled her eyes. "In hindsight, I guess he was scared."
Donna moved to pick her daughter up out of her car seat. "Of what? Coming home as the little princess' boyfriend and getting in trouble with the club?" Donna looked up from Ellie to look at Hanna. "Good thing you're magnetic. He couldn't stay away from you or something."
Hanna took a bite of her salad and smiled. "Yeah, something like that. I'll be glad when he gets back. He's on a run to Modesto with some of the nomad guys." Hanna stood up and walked around the table to pick up Ellie. "You are one beautiful little girl, ya know that? You're gonna break every heart out there."
Happy parked his bike beside Hanna's car and made his way inside. The minute he stepped inside the cabin, his nose was assaulted with the smell of candles burning. He walked further into the cabin where the living room was and spotted Hanna sitting in the middle of the room, folding laundry. Her back was facing him and he saw this as a great opportunity to scare her.
Being the silent man that he was, he crept up behind her and slowly reached her hands out to touch her. Right as he was about to grab her, he heard her soft voice say "You're not slick, Hap."
He started to laugh as he walked around her the squat down in front of her. "Smells good, baby... just you and me?"
"Thanks. Yeah, just you and me... Fun Town's in town for the whole week, why don't we go to it after we eat? Donna said her and Opie are going. Maybe the guys are going too."
Happy nodded his head. "Yeah, they were talking about it when I was getting ready to leave. If that's what you want to do then we can go."
Hanna stared at him for a few minutes before saying anything. "Are you sure? We don't have to if you don't want to."
A smile spread across Happy's face as he leaned forward to press a kiss to Hanna's forehead. "I want to go."
Hanna stood up and watched Happy do the same. "Is dinner almost ready? I'm starving and I missed your good ass cookin'." She nodded and gestured to the stove. "Steaks?"
He pulled his rings from his right hand and placed them on the counter by the stove and moved to wash his hands before he walked back to the stove to grab the bowl of marinating steaks. He leaned over to the blonde who was chopping up lettuce for her chop salad and kissed her cheek before he moved down to her neck. His tongue trailed over her skin before he started to suck on the same spot. He pulled away to see the red mark he'd left before he went back in, setting the glass bowl down before his hands could find her hips. She turned in his grasp, winding an arm around his shoulders to allow him better access. Their lips met and he slowly lifted her up to place her on the counter, their kiss deepening before he suddenly pulled away from her. "Gotta put the steaks on." He smiled at her before grabbing the bowl of meat again and walking out of the kitchen.
