"Bring it to me, bruh!!"
Kags set the ball his way and Tanaka hits the ball in a small space inbetween the blockers arm and the pole above the net.
"AWWWWRIIIIGHT!!" Tanaka yelled.
"Tanaka-San!!"
"Ryuuuuuuuuuu!!"
Hinata and Noya continued to cheer and hype up Tanaka.
Oikawa sighs and puts his hands on his hips. "Aww, and I was hoping to get at least another 3 or 4 points."
"Dude!" Tanaka sparkles. "That was the clearest I've ever seen the blockers, like, ever!!"
Tanaka explains to Shoyo about how sometimes he can see everything in slow motion and knows exactly where to hit the ball.
"Tanaka-san!! That's is sooo cooool!!"
"WAH HA HA! Well, duh! I'm your senior, y'know!!"
You smile at the idiots and look over at Kageyama. He seemed to be deep in thought, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Y'know.. I'm kind of worried about Kageyama," you say, voicing your thoughts to Ukai.
"Yeah.. me too. The pressure's getting to him."
You nod. "Poor Tobio.. hes lost all his confidence as a setter..."
Despite Aoba Johsai knowing Kageyama and Hinata's signals, it was still a challenge for them to block the orange fluffball.
Iwaizumi got a hand on it, but it flew out of bounds.
Oikawa stared at Karasuno with a slight frown.
"Hold it right there," Iwaizumi says. "You better not say any crap like 'I can't beat him as a setter' to my face again."
"Beat who, Tobio-chan? Of course I can't. There's no way I could ever put the ball up with the pinpoint accuracy he has— EEP! Don't get made at me!!" He cowers from Iwaizumi's glare.
The next rally starts and Kindaichi once again spikes over the top of Hinata's block.
Karasuno was now seven points behind. Kageyama kept nervously glancing at the score board.
He set the ball up for Daichi. The captain managed to get through the two blockers thrown his way.
As Noya went back out on the court, Hinata was walking over to Suga, who was waving at him.
"You know your signals? I think it's time to change them up!" Suga grins and holds a finger up to his lips.
Hinata sparkled. "OOH! Is it time to use the new—"
"COVER!!"
The two look over as one of their teammates yell. Noya dug a block and Kageyama sent it to Asahi, who managed to score past the blocker.
You tilt your head. "Is it just me.. or are their attacks speeding up?"
Ukai scratches his cheek. "Yeah.. I don't like it either. But I've already used both of the time outs for this set," he leans forward and cups a hand over his mouth. "Easy does it! Easy does it! Don't rush!"
Blue Castle scored another point, setting them at 18 points while Karasuno was only at 11.
Kunimi served but it was soft. Tanaka rushed to receive the ball as it dipped towards the front. Unfortunately, it headed back over the net.
Kageyama and Oikawa struggle in a joust as they both tried to shove it on the other side of the court.
Kageyama shoved it over and Oikawa used that momentum to push it to the side.
