You woke up the next morning, groggy and a little irritated. It was way too early..

But then you remembered the game and jumped up.

Oikawa walked in, toothbrush in hand. "Finally! You're awake."

You rubbed the sleep away from your eyes. "What time is it??"

"You have time. Go on, get dressed. Mom washed your clothes," he says, pointing at a pile of neatly stacked clothes.

After getting dressed, you checked the time and well..

You were most definitely late. There's no way you'd be able to make it to Karasuno in time.

"Shit," you curse as you fumble to put your shoes on.

Oikawa looks at you weird. "Dude. Chill out. It's fine."

"Yeah, maybe for you! I'm supposed to be on the bus like- now," you hastily shove all your shit into your bag.

He sighs. "You can just ride with us," he says, trying to calm you down.

"Wait, for real?"

He shrugs. "Don't see a problem with it."

You hug him. "Thanks! You're a life saver."

You text Daichi and tell him to go ahead tell everyone it's okay to leave. You had a ride and you were going to be on time.

You didn't say who was taking you though..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The bus ride was pretty eventful to say the least.
You were sitting in the back with Kindaichi on one side and Kunimi on the other.
Oikawa looked offended. "Don't you wanna sit next to me??"
Iwaizumi tugged Oikawa into the seat next to him. "Just shut up. You got to see him plenty-"
You sigh. "I wanna hang out with them. I'm sorry, didn't realize I needed your permission." You roll your eyes.
Oikawa flips you off with one hand, using the other to pull down his lower eyelid, sticking his tongue out at you.
"After we slept together last night, too!! How rude!" He huffs, turning around in his seat.
Everyone's heads slowly turn to you.
"You.."
"Did..."
"WHAT?!"
You go still, realizing this might be the end.
"W-Wait.. n-no.. not like that.. ahaha, guys- please don't kill me!"
Oikawa snickered to himself, listening to the chaos as he happily hummed to himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It wasn't long before the bus arrived.

Everyone looked confused to see a black Karasuno jacket among the blue and white Aoba Johsai team. It was a stark contrast.

You stayed with them until it was time for warmups.

Oikawa grabbed your hand as you turned to leave.

"Wait- can I um.." he looked down and poked his fingers together.

You smirk. You knew what he wanted.

"Come here."

Oikawa smiles and hugs you tight. It was quick, but it boosted his confidence.

"Alright, see ya guys in a few," you wave at them and turn to leave before getting picked up in a hug from Iwaizumi.

"Think you could get away from me without a hug, idiot?"

You wheeze as he bear hugs you.

And of course, the rest of the team wanted a hug too.

You finally escaped and made your way down the halls. There was only a few minutes until official warm ups started.

"(Y/N)!" You looked over as your name was called.

Noya and Tanaka sprint over to you at full speed.

"YOURE HEREEEE!!"

They skid to a stop, practically beaming as they looked up at you.

"Hey, guys," you smile, reaching up and patting both of their heads.

"(Y/n)!" Hinata enthusiastically waves you over.

"Jeez, you guys are acting like I've been gone for months. You just saw me yesterday," you say, starting to walk over to them.

A tall dude from a team you didn't recognize bumped into your shoulder. You didn't think anything of it. It was crowded after all. Easy mistake.

Tanaka and Noya go dead silent, their 'serious faces' on.

They each grab one of your hands, marching ahead of you.

"MAKE WAY. MAKE WAY." Noya yells, throwing his other arm out as if to push away anybody who came too close.

"THE GREAT (Y/N) IS COMING THROUGH," Tanaka does the same.

You sigh. "Guys-"

"Shhh!" They both silence you and continue 'guarding' you for the few feet it takes to reach the others.

"Ugh. You guys are so embarrassing sometimes."

Silence~

"Okay, listen here you little shits- at least I don't publicly embarrass you-"

Silence~

You sulk in the corner in true Tamaki Suoh style.

Round 3: Karasuno vs. Aoba Johsai

"Hiya, Tobio-chan!~" Oikawa says. "I've really been looking forward to getting to beat you in public today and show (Y/n) who the better setter is, little Mr. Prodigy Setter. Try not to make it too easy for me, would you?"

Kageyama glares at him.

The match started off fast.

Oikawa started off with a setter dump, shocking everyone.

"C'mon guys! Wake up over there! I'm going to do the same thing again next~ so rub the sleepies out of your eyes and watch for it, okay?"

The next rally starts and Hinata goes for one a freak quick. It would've worked, but Watari received it easily as if he was waiting for it.

Oikawa went after the ball, ready to spike it. Tanaka and Hinata jump, refusing to let him get away with it.

At the last second, Oikawa switches his approach and sets the ball to Iwaizumi.

"Hm," you hum in amusement, catching Kiyoko's attention. "They sure look like they're having fun.."

Her eyes widen a bit, but she decided not to comment on it. She smiled before turning back to the game.

Kageyama, being the sore loser he is, countered with a setter dump of his own.

"Next time, I'm going to do the same thing," he says, glaring at Oikawa. "Please watch for it."

"Uppity little snot.!" Oikawa sneers.
