TW/CWs: Mention of small wounds

Ranboo's POV
Once they got back to Tubbo's house, he quickly led Ranboo to his room and got a first aid kit from the bathroom.
Tubbo motioned for the hurt boy to sit on his bed, and Ranboo obliged. Tubbo sat on the bed next to Ranboo and began to gently clean his face with a wipe.
The wipe stung Ranboo's cuts and he bit the inside of his cheek to keep from crying. Despite his efforts, a tear managed to slide down his cheek.
Tubbo gently swiped the tear away with his finger and rested his hand on Ranboo's cheek.
"I'm sorry, but you'll get an infection if I don't clean them," Tubbo whispered. Ranboo sighed and nodded.
Tubbo finished cleaning and bandaging Ranboo's cuts, and went to put the first aid kit back in the bathroom. Ranboo checked his phone, realizing it was 2 am.
Oh, shoot.
Ranboo completely forgot about the clothes he needed to get.
"Hey, Tubbo?" Ranboo said, and Tubbo walked out of the bathroom and over to him.
"What's up Boo?"
"I forgot about the clothes..." Ranboo said nervously.
"No problem! Let's go over there now, unless you don't want to. I have some oversized clothes that could probably fit you," Tubbo said, smiling gently.
"I don't really want to walk over," Ranboo said quietly, his eyes on the floor. Tubbo put his hand on Ranboo's and held it gently.
"That's ok bossman, I'll find you some clothes," the shorter boy said, and got up to walk over to his dresser. He threw some black sweatpants and a blue hoodie at Ranboo.
"You can change in the bathroom," Tubbo said, grinning.
"Thank you Tubbo, really. It means a lot," Ranboo said, and headed towards the bathroom.
"Anytime, bossman,"
Ranboo quickly got changed into the clothes. He pulled the hoodie over his head and was pleasantly surprised to find out it smelled like his friend.
Vanilla and orange.
Lavender and honey.
Tubbo.
Ranboo smiled widely. He stepped out of the bathroom and his eyes drifted to Tubbo lying on the bed.
"Is that mine?" Ranboo asked, recognizing the familiar hoodie Tubbo was wearing.
"Um-, uh, yea but you can have it back I'm sorry I should've asked-" the brunette's nervous stuttering was interrupted by Ranboo engulfing him in a hug.
Tubbo paused, and then hugged the tall boy back, leaning his head into Ranboo's shoulder.
They stayed like this for a minute before Ranboo eventually pulled away.
"It's ok Tubbo," Ranboo said softly, "Besides, you look cute," Tubbo blushed and rolled his eyes playfully.
Ranboo eased himself carefully onto the bed, lying next to Tubbo.
But he moved his arm the wrong way, and pain shot through his limb. Ranboo winced but soon got comfortable on the bed.
Tubbo noticed and wrapped his arm around Ranboo.
"I'm sorry Boo, I should've come with you in the first place," Tubbo said, frowning.
"It's ok Tubbo, you didn't know what would happen," Ranboo said, taking Tubbo's hand gently.
The brunette exhaled softly and squeezed Ranboo's hand.
The tall boy put his head on Tubbo's chest, suddenly feeling drained.
"Aww, you're like a cat," Tubbo teased, ruffling Ranboo's hair.
"Hey!" Ranboo protested, glaring up at the brunette. Tubbo giggled and Ranboo couldn't help but smile softly at him.
I really need to thank Mr. Halo for pairing us up.
"Mmm, I'm tired, Bo," Ranboo mumbled, burying his face in Tubbo's chest.
"Me too," Tubbo said drowsily, mindlessly stroking his fingers through Ranboo's hair. Ranboo leaned into the touch, and Tubbo grinned warmly.
Tubbo reached over and grabbed a blanket next to him, careful not to disturb Ranboo. He spread it over them, and Ranboo snuggled closer to Tubbo, already drifting off to sleep.
Tubbo wrapped his arm around Ranboo and resumed playing with his hair.
They soon fell asleep in each other's arms, and for the first time in a while, Ranboo slept well.
Until the nightmare happened.
