There was a small restaurant only a few minutes away from Tubbo's house, so the duo decided to walk there.

Tubbo was talking excitedly to Ranboo about a show he was watching, his eyes bright as he described his favorite parts.

"...and then he fucking died which was really sad," the brunette finished, looking up at Ranboo. Ranboo smiled and took Tubbo's hand, swinging it between them as they walked.

They remained in comfortable silence, only broken by Tubbo's comments on certain flowers they passed on the path.

Soon enough they arrived at the restaurant, a small shop called Diamond Sandwiches. The duo walked inside, admiring the cozy appearance of the restaurant though there were only a few people inside.

"Table for two?" Ranboo turned to see a young man with black hair that was colored blue at the tips. He wore a black apron over a blue hoodie and held a clipboard.

"Yeah, thank you," Tubbo said, smiling at the man. The man nodded and led them over to a small table. They sat across from each other.

"I'm Skeppy, and I'll be your waiter for today. Here are some menus, I'll be back in a few to take your order," Skeppy said, and then headed back over to the kitchen. Ranboo opened his menu, but couldn't help but hear the conversation happening in the kitchen next to them.

"Shit, we're almost out of bologna," Ranboo heard Skeppy say.

"LANGUAGE!" a voice shouted back. Ranboo could've sworn he had heard that voice before, but he couldn't remember where.

A brown-haired man stepped out of the kitchen, shaking his head. He walked up to Ranboo and Tubbo's table and took out a pad of paper.

"What can I get you-"

"Mr. Halo?" Ranboo asked, recognizing him. Mr. Halo's face brightened.

"Oh hello! Ranboo and Toby, how are you guys? It's good to see you're friends already," Mr. Halo smiled, adjusting his glasses.

"I'm doing alright," Ranboo answered.

"Since when do you work here?" Tubbo asked.

"Oh, my husband Skeppy runs the place. I come here to help out every so often," he explained. Tubbo's mouth formed a silent oh.

"So! What can I get you guys?" Mr. Halo asked, clicking his pen.

"I'll have a grilled cheese and a lemonade," Tubbo said.

"Mhm... and for you Ranboo?" Mr. Halo asked, turning to the taller boy.

"Uh, I'll just have a salad wrap and a water, thank you," Ranboo said, smiling at Mr. Halo.

"Ok! That'll be right up!" he hurried back to the kitchen.

Soon, the food had come and they had eaten, and now the duo was just chatting about random subjects.

Ranboo heard a notification go off from his phone, and pulled it out of his pocket. He was mildly surprised to see that it was already 2:30, but Tubbo just made the time fly by when Ranboo was with him.
