TW/CWs: Anxiety

-----------------------------

Ranboo POV

"Boo, wake up. Boooooooo c'mon we have to go to school," Ranboo was pulled out of his sleep to see Tubbo's face next to his, the brunette's hair messed up and half-covering his eyes. The tall boy groaned and rubbed his face.

"But I'm tired Bo," they complained, and Tubbo nodded sleepily in agreement.

"Me too. But we have to go, come on," he said, poking Ranboo's arm. Ranboo sighed and sat up, opening his mouth in a yawn.

"Ok, I'll get ready in the bathroom," Ranboo said, swinging his legs over the bed and standing up.

"Alright, come out when you're ready," the brunette said, getting a

hoodie from his closet.

" But I already came out," Ranboo said with a dead serious face. Tubbo rolled his eyes and groaned.

"It's too early for this!" he complained dramatically, a smile on his face despite his statement.

Ranboo laughed and grabbed some clothes from his suitcase, walking into the bathroom.

The tall boy quickly changed into baggy black jeans and a violet hoodie, and finished getting ready by washing his face and such. Ranboo walked out of the bathroom to see Tubbo in blue jeans and a white shirt, and he was pulling on a dark green sweater to go over it.

"Hey bossman, looking sharp," Tubbo commented, and Ranboo laughed.

"Thanks Tubbo, you too," Ranboo replied. Ranboo grabbed their backpack, and Tubbo got his own as well.

"Come on, I know a place where we can get breakfast before school," Tubbo said nonchalantly, and a pit of anxiety grew in Ranboo's gut.

"A-are you sure? Won't we be late?" he said, trying to find an excuse not to go.

"Yeah, it's on the way anyways," Tubbo assured them, and walked out of the room to head downstairs. Ranboo swallowed nervously and followed him down the stairs.

"But it'll cost money, and you've already done so much. I don't want to be a burden," Ranboo rushed. Tubbo stopped walking and turned to face Ranboo.

"You-" Tubbo placed a hand on Ranboo's shoulder, "-are not a burden. I promise you. Making sure you get food isn't an issue, it should actually be a priority," the brunette's warm eyes were filled with kindness, and Ranboo's defenses crumbled.

"...ok" he relented with a sigh, and Tubbo grinned, and grabbed Ranboo's hand.

"Let's go Boo," Tubbo chirped and led Ranboo out the door.

-Time Skip-

"Ok, we're here!" Tubbo announced, stopping in front of a quaint shop. Ranboo noticed the sign hung above the door, reading Hannah's Bakery.

The duo stepped inside, and Ranboo was immediately greeted with the sweet smell of pastries. A young woman with curly chestnut hair in a white blouse and a pink apron seemed to be the only person there.

It was a rather small shop, with only three tables and a counter to order, but it had a very homely atmosphere.

"This is nice," Ranboo commented, and Tubbo nodded in agreement. The duo walked up to the counter, and the woman looked up from what she was doing and smiled at them
