anyways sorry for the wait, but here's chapter 8 (omg that rhymed I'm a genius)

Ranboo's last two classes flew by, and before he knew it the day was over.
"Hey, do you walk or drive home?" Tubbo asked Ranboo as they walked out of the school.
"Uh, I walk, my house is just five minutes down the road," Ranboo said, pointing down a road that led away from the school.
"Oh cool, my house is that way as well! D'you wanna walk together?" the shorter boy asked, looking at Ranboo.
"Sure!" Ranboo grinned, and they started down the road. Tubbo began to talk excitedly to Ranboo about the school project. Apparently, Tubbo was very interested in Greek Mythology.
"-so maybe we could do our project on Hyacinth? I always found his story interesting, and the flower named after him is really pretty!" Ranboo smiled at the glow in Tubbo's eyes as he talked about one of his favorite subjects.
Tubbo suddenly stopped and looked up nervously at Ranboo.
"Sorry, I get carried away talking sometimes. I can stop talking if you'd like," Tubbo said quietly, fidgeting with his hands. The look in Tubbo's downcast eyes tugged at Ranboo's heart, so he took Tubbo's hand and gave him a small smile.
"It's ok, I'd like to hear more," Ranboo said warmly, meeting the eyes of the shorter boy. Tubbo's whole demeanor visibly brightened.
"Oh! So, actually, I meant to ask, do you want to come over? So we can start working on the project and stuff?" Tubbo asked, looking up at Ranboo.
"Sure! Let me text my parents real quick," Ranboo said, pulling out his phone smiling.
Once shooting a quick text to his mom, he followed Tubbo past Ranboo's house and further down the road. Tubbo began talking about his garden.
"I started it last year! It's all flowers. My favorites are the morning glories and lavender. But I really love the alliums," Tubbo said. Ranboo perked up.
"Alliums? Those are my favorite flowers!" the taller said excitedly. Tubbo's face broke into a grin.
"Really? That's awesome! Oh, we're here," Tubbo said, pointing at a medium sized yellow house.
"D'you wanna see my garden?" Tubbo asked. Ranboo nodded, and Tubbo grabbed Ranboo's hand, dragging him around to the back of the house.
The brunette headed over to the corner of the yard, where a small area was covered in flowers. Tubbo began to excitedly explain them all to Ranboo.
"That over there are the daisies, then the lavender is right here and morning glories to the left of 'em. Then the alliums are there," Tubbo finished. Ranboo knelt down next to the alliums, remembering the shoebox on his old fire escape.
Tubbo crouched next to Ranboo and gently picked one of the flowers. He brought it up to Ranboo's face, and the tall boy flinched slightly.
"Oh, shit, sorry bossman," Tubbo said, quickly retracting his hand and looking nervous.
"It's alright, sorry," Ranboo said with a small smile.
"No need to apologize," the shorter boy said. He brought the allium up to Ranboo's face, slower this time, and tucked it behind his ear.
"There," Tubbo said quietly.
Ranboo smiled and took Tubbo's hand.
"Thank you,"
