Eda opens the door to Luz's room, interrupting the two of you mid conversation.
"Hey kiddos. What're you up to?" She asks.
"Nothing much. Luz is just explaining the....five nights at... Fredrick's....? Plot...? I really don't know what's going on" you mumble.
"Well, Y/n here got a letter from the emperor's coven. An invitation to some ball thing tonight." Eda says, tossing you an envelope.
"This is definitely a trap, right?" Luz asks.
"Judging from the fact the letter says 'definitely not a trap' yeah, probably." You say.
"I think you should go." Eda states.
You and Luz both turn to her.
"Why?" You stutter.
"Belos has this totem I've been trying to get my hands on for a while! If you can get in, then you can get it for me!" Eda smiles.
"So... you want me to go to the place that pretty much traumatized me for years and the only good thing about it was my best friend who I betrayed to come here?" You ask.
She nods.
"Fair enough." You stand up.
"This party is in an hour. Lemme go find my suit." You say, heading back to your room.
(Time skip)
You walk up to the entrance of the castle.
"Ok Y/n. In and out. Just get the totem and go back." You mumble to yourself.
You turn to the Phoenix who flew you over here.
"Wait for my signal, ok Nova? When you hear it you'll fly me out." You say.
The bird nods and you head inside, Nova flying off to a nearby tree.
You start sneaking around the castle, looking for the totem.
Eda drew you a picture of it so it should be easy to find.. right?
You wander aimlessly until you come across a familiar hallway.
You find yourself face to face with the door to your room.
I wonder if my stuff is still here..
You open the door only to see-
"Hunter?" You stutter.
"Y/n?" He quickly turns around dropping the sketchbook he was looking through.
You quickly close the door and start running down the halls.
You eventually hide in a small closet.
As you close the door, an item falls off a shelf onto your head.
"Ow! Wait-" you look at it only to recognize it as the totem.
You smile to yourself and quickly run off, heading back to the front entrance..
Which is now guarded.
You run through the castle, checking every exit you can think of.
They're all closed off.
"Only one other option." You mumble, running up to the roof.
"Nova! Nova!" You yell.
The Phoenix doesn't come.
You sigh and turn around, ready to head back inside.
"Leaving so soon?" Hunter asks, leaning against the door.
