Chapter 9

Your POV

"Did you miss me" I said standing at Baji's door. It was the next day and I had decided to pay my good friend a visit. He clearly wasn't happy to see me considering he closed the door. My jaw dropped as I stood there for a few seconds before he opened it again "Come on" he said moving out the way "Thank you" I said walking in and removing my shoes.

I looked around "You looking for something" he asked following my eyes "Where's your mom?" I asked him "At workkk" he said stretching out the last word "Oh what time does she go to work?" I asked still looking around "I don't fucking know" he shrugged sitting on the couch.

I sighed and sat next to him "How's it been?" He asked "Um, Someone asked me to be their girlfriend" I told him leaning my head on his shoulder "Who?" He quickly responded "Mikey" "Well did you agree" he asked quicker than before "Not yet-" I started but was interrupted "Yet?" "I mean Mikey likes me, like really really likes me and I like him to-" "So your going to be his girlfriend?" He asked.

"Can you stop questioning me I'm trying to get advice from a friend and you keep interrupting me" I said lifting my head from his shoulder "Because I don't think you should be with Mikey" he told me simply. I furrowed my eyebrows and my shoulders "What...." I mumbled "Mikey isn't good for you trust me I know" He said.

When Baji spoke it was in a different way than usual. He had a more emotional tone and expression "But Mikey's your best friend you should at least point me in the right direction for him" "I am, look I'm sure you think he likes you but Mikey's just confused-" he started grabbing my hand but I quickly snatched it away "No your confused" I said slightly raising my voice "No your not getting what I'm saying I'm helping you out" he said.

"Your far from helping me. I thought you would be your usual self and say whatever but your acting like your jealous. Mikey really likes me so-" suddenly Baji placed one hand on my cheek leaning in kissing me. I was shocked at first but went with it kissing him back. We kissed for what felt like forever before he pulled away looking at me for some response "Fuck" I mumbled.

"Is that bad or good?" Baji asked with a nervous look on his face "I, I don't know that was very sudden. Especially while I was explaining how I like this other guy." I told him looking down "So you don't like me?" He asked "I never really thought about it. Don't get me wrong your attractive and all and we have an amazing friendship but, I really like Mikey and he had the courage to tell me how he felt . Turning him down would break his heart and I don't want to do that" I looked up at Baji who looked away.

"If you would have said something a little sooner maybe it could be different" I said "Don't act like that it's alright. I can't force you to like me and it isn't even that serious" he shrugged off "Baji can you promise me one thing?" I asked. He looked at me "Don't treat me differently after this" I said standing up "Your leaving?" He asked.

"Uh yea I gotta meet up with my brother" I half lied. Yea I was meeting with Mikey but obviously Draken would be there "Oh well lock the door behind you" Baji said laying down on the couch putting his feet up "Bye" I said walking to the door locking the bottom lock before leaving out.

I was walking down the street with Draken and Mikey. We had went out to eat and of course right after Mikey fell asleep so we woke him up and decided to take him home with us "We're almost there" I said as Mikey groaned leaning on me "If you fall it's gonna be your fault so you better not complain" I said bumping his head lightly with my shoulder "Y/Nnnnn I'm tiredddd" he groaned dragging out his words.

"I know we're here just hold on" I said pulling the door open. We got in the elevator and up to the top floor as the doors slid open "Oh uh Draken right? Would you be a sweetheart and help me with something" one of the newer girls said. Draken groaned "You guys go ahead" "Let me know if you need help" I said dragging Mikey to our room as Draken nodded.

I opened our door and walked in taking off my jacket. Mikey dramatically fell down face first onto the bed "It is not that serious" I rolled my eyes but of course he was already asleep. I flipped my phone open shooting a text to Draken about everything that had happened today. Draken was all the family I got and despite us fighting like siblings do I still look to him whenever I have an issue. I felt more comfortable texting him since Mikey was asleep and I didn't want him to know about Baji confessing to me.

He text me back asking me what I was gonna do. I looked at Mikey as he rested thinking about what I wanted to do and how it would affect somethings in my life. I texted back with a simple smiley face closing my phone. I leaned back on my bed looking at Mikey's face again thinking if this was the right decision or if I was risking our friendship with a simple sentence.

"Mikey....." I whispered
