Chapter 8

Mason POV

I walked down the hall to talk to Gabriel about what happened. I got to his door and pushed it open. There he was.In the middle of the floor.A pocket knife at his wrist.

I did the only thing I could do.Scream.

Eliza POV

I felt Dad wrap his arms around me. I felt pressure on the bed when Mom sat down. Then I heard Mason scream down the hall.Mom was up before anyone. She ran down the hallway with me and Dad on her heels. Then I saw him.Mason was prying a knife out of Gabriel's hands.

But the blood was still there.

Jace POV

One minute I was holding my Baby girl and the next I was helping Mason get the knife out of Gabriel's hands. Clary and Isabelle were crying.Simon and Alec were helping me get Gabriel and Mason apart. Mayrse and Robert were getting towels to clean up the blood he had drawn.

Clary POV

My baby.My baby tried to kill himself.My baby almost died.

That's all I could think.My baby.

"Clary maybe you and Izzy should take the kids downstairs to the kitchen."Jace said.

I quickly grabbed Eli and Mason and walked downstairs. Izzy took Gabriel to the infirmary.

"Momma...will he be okay?"Eliza asked.

"Yes baby.He will be fine."I hope.

Mason wrapped his arms around Eliza.She cried into his chest until neither of them could stand anymore.They both sank into the couch and cried themselves to sleep.

Gabriel POV
I want to die.No one loves me.I'm just the stupid child that Mom and Dad never wanted.

I pulled the knife out of my top dresser.I slipped my thumb over the tip of it.
Sharp.Very sharp.

I started at my palm and dragged the knife down.The blood started coming right when Mason opened the door and screamed.

Everything happened so fast.Dad came and tried to pry the knife out my hands.It took him, Mason, and Uncle Alec to do so.Then Mason jumped on me.We were fighting in the middle of the floor. Dad, Uncle Simon,and Uncle Alec pulled us apart.Dad told Mom to take Mason and Eli downstairs. Aunt Izzy took me to the infirmary. Uncle Magnus was there.I blacked out right after I saw him.

Isabelle POV

There was so much blood. I would have thrown up right then and there but I didn't. I carried Gabriel to the infirmary. Magnus did his thing and I walked to my room.I walked in and sat on the bed.I rubbed and cradled my stomach.Little did I know that the door was still open and Alec walked by.

He paused.Walked back.Came into my room.Closed the door.And asked the question I have wanted to tell him

"Isabelle.....are you pregnant?"
