Chapter 17

Mason Pov
At the moment, Gabriel, Eliza, Addi, Alex, Jack, Zack, Rian, Dad, Mom, Aunt Iz, Uncle Simon, Uncle Alec, Uncle Magnus, and I are sitting in the living room.We are watching some scary movie.Can't remember what it's called. Mom and Dad are curled up on one of the couches.Uncle Simon and Aunt Iz are on the other end of that couch.Uncle Alec and Uncle Magnus are sitting in the floor in front of that couch.I am in a chair.Gabe is in a chair.Addi and Eli are laying in the floor.Jack is beside Addi.Alex is by Eli.Rian is beside Jack.Zack is sitting with his back against my chair.
You know how in scary movies someone usually jumps out and scares the main character? Well that happened.Me, Eli, Gabe, Addi, and Jack screamed like little girls.
Oh.I forgot.Yeah.All of us are like really close.Mom and Dad really like the guys.We are just a big family. Mom considers them extended family. Dad thinks of them as really close friends.It's weird. But I guess thats just how it is.

Eliza Pov
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"Me, Addi, Gabe, Mason, and Jack screamed.
"What are you screaming about Jack!? You've seen this....what....300 times? !"Alex asked.
"Yeah well.Just so you know.It gets me every time."Jack said.
Mom and Dad were laughing on their couch.
All of us are like really close.
I mean close.
I mean so close that they know about us.
Seriously.
Mom and Dad let us tell them.
They watch us train alot just like we watch them practice.
Jack hugged me in one of his bearhugs.
"Can't. ....breath. .."
He let go and started tickling me.
"STOPP!!!!"I shrieked.
I slapped his hands away.
"Oww!!"He said.
"Well don't tickle me then!"
Knock knock
I forgot.Madeline and Alison don't know about Alex, Jack, Zack, and Rian. I mean they know I went to a concert. But they don't know that they are the reason I haven't been hanging out with them.
And guess what!!! Thats who was at the door!! Yay! Not.
Mom went to the door and I told her to tell them that I was asleep.
"Well can we go wake her up?"Madeline asked.
"She hasn't been feeling well."
"Well we'll just go up and tell her we stopped by."
I heard her voice getting closer.
I ran up to my rood and closed the door.I jumped in bed right when I heard a knock.
"Come in."I said quietly.
"Hey.Your Mom said you weren't feeling well. "
"Yeah."
"Well we just wanted to say hey and getnto feeling better.Will you be at school tomorrow? "Alison asked.
"Umm.Well...I don't know. "
"Okay.Bye."
What I left out was that we weren't going to school anymore. Mom and Dad are pulling us out.We are going back to studying "Shadowhunter ways".
We'll have lessons but they won't last as long as normal classes do.After that I'll be going to work with the guys.Yeah.I'm helping out.They said I could become one of their photographers. I don't know though. Oh! Addi's moving in with us! Her mom and dad have to go to Idris so they are letting her live with us.
I heard the door downstairs open and close. I ran downstairs and got back in my place by Addi.Jack came out from their hiding place and layed back down by me.
Mom started the movie back.
As always, Jack acted a little too dramatic. But thats okay.
