Chapter 9

Eliza POV
I woke up in someone's arms.Mason's arms.I slowly put it down beside me and stood up. Dad was asleep in the chair across from us.I walked into the kitchen to see Uncle Magnus cooking breakfast.
"Morning Uncle Magnus."
"Morning Princess."
"How is he?"
"He's fine.Alex and Simon stayed with him all night.They said he did fine."
"Okay.Well, I have to go get ready for school."
I walked upstairs and to my room.I changed into a blue t-shirt and shorts.I slid my converses on and grabbed my bag, purse, and phone.I jogged back downstairs. Mom and Aunt Izzy was down there.Mason came down soon after and Dad came into the kitchen.
"Hey Sweetie. Did you sleep well? "
"Yeah Dad."
I said my goodbyes and walked out with Mason where everyone was waiting.
"Hey Eli! Mason!"Ali said.
Mason blushed a bright red.
"Hey Ali."he mumbled.
"Hey guys."I said.
Madeline came and looped her arm through mine.
"Sooooo......."
"Soooo......what?"I said.
"Well.I was thinking.You know how you said you guys are turning 15 soon? "
"Yeah...."
"Well.I wanna throw a party.At my house. It will be like really awesome. We can even go dress shopping!"
"Yeah.That would be cool."
"Really!?!?!"
"Yeah!"
"Yay!!!"
She ran up to Alison to obviously sort out the plans.
Devin walked up and grabbed my hand.
"Eli...."
"Yeah..?"
"So I know your brothers don't like me.I don't know what to say to them to get them to like me."
"They are just being protective."
"I know."
"Then don't worry about it."
We got to school and went through the day like usual. We walked home like usual.
"We're home!!!"Me and Mason yelled at the same time.
I ran up to my room and put mu earbuds in.I started listening to Pandora.This band named All Time Low came on and I instantly fell in love.I started downloading all their albums.Then Twenty One Pilots:House of Gold came on.
She asked me "Son when I grow old, will you buy me a house of gold?And when your father turns to stone, will you take care of me?"

In the middle of singing, my phone started ringing.
"Hello? "
"So can we go dress shopping? "Ali asked.
"Umm.Let me ask.I'll call you back."
I ran downstairs to my Mom and asked her.She said yes.I called Alison back and she said she would be here in an hour.I ran back upstairs and saw that all my music was downloaded. I put my earbuds back in and started singing Lost in Stereo.

I got that far and then there was a knock at the door.
"Eliza! Your friends are here!"Mom yelled.
I ran downstairs and out the door.
We walked to the closest dress shop and started trying on stuff.
Ali found a light blue dress with a halter top and jewels all up and down the left side.It went to her knees.Madeline found a black, strapless dress. It had glitter at the very botton.Floor length. I found a deep purple dress with silver and white streaks.less than mid thigh.One strap.
We walkes out of the shop.I was first to get dropped off.
"Bye guys!"
I walked up to my room with Mom and Aunt Izzy on my heels.
"Try it on."Mom said.
I slid into the dress and Mom gasped.
"Honey..."
"You look gorgeous! "Aunt Izzy said.
"Thanks."
They grabbed my hands and led me downstairs where everyone was sitting.Uncle Magnus was the first to see me.
"Adorable!"
Dad, Uncle Alec, and Mason turned around at the same time.
Uncle Alec didn't say anything.
Dad looked mad.
Mason was pulling me back upstairs.
"Mason! What are you doing?"
"Your taking it back."
"No.I'm not."
"Yeah.You.Are."he grounded out.
I pulled my arm out and pushed him to the ground.He jumped up and sat down by Dad again.
"Don't you thinl its.......short?"Dad asked.
"Yeah. And?"
"I know what boys Mason's age act like.Why don't you find a longer dress?"
"No.I like this one."
"Eliza! You are not old enough to have a boyfriend. I don't want guys chasing you when they don't have a chance."Dad said.
"She already has a boyfriend."Mason mumbled.
"WHAT?????!!!!!!"
"MASON!!!!"I yelled.
"Really!?!?!"Mom asked.
"Awwwwwwww!!!!"Uncle Magnus and Aunt Izzy said.
"You promised you wouldn't say anything Mason! I hate you! I try to protect both of you and this is how you repay me!?!"I yelled and then ran up to my room and pulled the dress off and threw it in the.hallway.I pulled on a tank top and shorts and put my earbuds back in. I turned it all the way up and listened to Somethings Gotta Give by All Time Low.
