Chapter 4

Eliza POV

I woke up to someone sitting on me.That someone being Mason.

"Eli wake up!Time to get ready for school."

I sat up and pushed him off of me.

"Hey what was that for?"he said as he stood up.

"For sitting on me."

He then walked out so I could get ready.I decided I was going for a girly look.I know I'm a Shadow hunter,but as Aunt Izzy would say,"Every girl has her moment to shine."

I ended up wearing coral jeggings with a loose,white shirt.I pulled on my black boots and put on some lip gloss.I decided I would straighten my hair.When I finished that,I made my way downstairs.

When I got downstairs,Mason and Gabe were already down there.

"And she finally comes down."Gabe said sarcastically.

"And she has to go back up because I'm not letting her wear that to school."Mason said.

"Shut up Mason."I said.

"Children!Come eat so we can go!"Grandpa said.

We all went into the kitchen and ate pancakes,eggs,and bacon.

"Thanks Grams!"I said.

"Are you all ready?"She asked.

"Can we walk to school?"I ask.

"Sure."she said.

I ran back up to my room and grabbed my phone,my purse,and my bag.When I made it back downstairs,Grandma and Grandpa gave us hugs and wished us luck.

We made it to school just as the bell rang.We hustled through the doors and walked into the office.The lady at the desk introduced herself as Ms.Mabel and gave us our schedules.I had literature first block while Mason had physical science and Gabriel had algebra.She showed Mason his class first,then Gabe,and lastly me.When I walked into the classroom,they were talking about Romeo and Juliet.The teacher stopped what she was doing and introduced me.

"Class,this is our new student Eliza Herondale.Eliza I am Ms.Ginger.We are happy to have you."

I gave her my signature smile and asked her where I should sit.

"Why don't you go sit by Alison.Alison raise your hand please."

The girl that raised her hand had a heart shaped face,long blonde hair,and had a friendly smile on her face.

"Hi.I'm Alison Monroe.You can call me Ali."

Well Ali,I'm Eliza Herondale.But everyone calls me Eli."

"Eli,I think we'll become great friends."

Turns out she wasn't lying.We spent about half of class talking and Ms.Ginger didn't seem to mind. I wonder how Mason and Gabriel are doing.

It turns out that at this school,there is a first lunch and a second lunch.Gabe,Mason,and I all have first lunch.That means we sit through three classes,eat lunvh,then go to the next class.I walked with Alison to lunch.Turns out we have the same first three classes and then lunch.When I saw Gabe and Mason,I walked over and hugged them.I don't know why but we have this thing where we hug all the time.

"Ali,meet my brothers,Gabriel and Mason. We're triplets."

"Triplets?!"

"Yeah.I'm considered the oldest.Mason is second,then Gabe."

"Well,you three need to meet my friends."She walked over to a table full of people.

"Guys,this is Eliza and her brothers Gabriel and Mason.They're triplets."

"There was a couple 'hellos' but mostly the guys stared at me while the girls stared at Gabe and Mason.

"Can you guys maybe scoot so they can sit?"Alison asked.

"Actually, we are going to sit over here.Sorry Ali."I sad as I led my brothers to a table off to the side.

"Are you okay Eli?You usually like to be in the center of attention."Gabriel asked.

"Yeah.I'm fine.I just need to be alone with you two.I think its the attachment issues coming on again."I said.

"Know we're here for you Eliza.Always have,always will."Mason said.

We ate in a peaceful silence.When it was time to go to class,we looked at our s scheduled and saw that they put us in two classes together.In a row!Turns out those two,classes were P.E and Spanish.Too bad we were already in fit shape and knew Spanish.

In P.E.

I changes into some shorts and a tank top and put on my tennis shoes.I went out omtp the football field and saw the others in similar wear.This girl named Madeline came up to me and told me what we were doing.Running laps.Something I'm good at.I saw Gabriel and Mason on the other side of the feild.The coach called us to order and asked the three of us to come up to the front by him.

"I'm Coach McDonald.You three must be the Herondale triplets.We need to see how fit you three really are.You three are going to be on a team along with Madeline,Devin,and Mark.The rest of you split up into groups of six."

After everyone got into their groups,Coach said we were running to the  50 yard line and back.The objective was to take the flag all the way down and back as fast as possible. Teamwork activity.Always good to be triplets.Madeline is going to start us off,then Mark,then Devin,then Gabe,Mason,and lastly me.Coach blew the wistle and Madeline took off.She made it to the 50 yard line at the same time a girl from the other team did.Madeline quickened her pace and made it back right before the other girl did.Mark took off and made it back.He passed it to Devin who took off.The person from one of the other teams caught up to him tight when he handed the flag to Gabe.Gabe took off and the guys from the other teams tried to catch but they never had the training we did.I leaned forward and whispered to Mason,"Go easy."he nodded and did exactly what I said.The others caught up easily.He handed my the flag at the exact same time the guy to our right handed it to the girl.I pushed myself so hard that I felt as if I was flying.When I got to the 50 yard line, I turned to see Gabe and Mason smiling at the shocked expressions from everyone else.I got back to my team and hadn't even broken a sweat.

"How are you not sweating?'Madeline asked me.

"I run a lot.We all do."I said smiling as everyone crouded around us.
